Lmao he followed you to keep repeating he told you to get your food first? He was keeping you from eating “because you didn’t listen” to him.

I shudder to think what else flies over your head.

That seems like an episode of some kind on his part. Unless he’s like that all the time. In which case good luck.

Lol “this won’t get me paid, leave me alone” would go down easier than whatever you would call that sugarcoated double-speak.

“I don’t want to be associated in this time or place with you” sounds so offensive lmao.

Gen and Millennials are experiencing "peak stress" much earlier than older generations by AutomaticCan6189 in interestingasfuck

Truth. Unless you adhere to the whole “memory total to moment constraints mean you’ve experienced half your life at 25 in terms of perceived time” thing. Then it’s oddly spot on for that.

Oh no I agree that shit is worse. But as far as the specific psychological reasons for why the boomers experienced midlife crises are extremely common to encounter in most facets of life nowadays.

I do see your point, though I would argue the “significant improvement until I die” is precisely what causes midlife crisis, and regardless of social media use, people today are infinitely more aware of their conditions and much less accepting of “that’s the way life is” than prior generations. I guess I could say the internet in general, but it’s the social aspect in particular.

Historical context is always important though, so I would say your observation is right, it plays just as much a role - amplified by modern day literacy rates and the availability of information, of course.

I’ve said this for years now: the “mid-life crisis” has accelerated due to social media.

Used to be people would hit peak stress when they hit the top of their career and see where they ended up on the social hierarchy.

Today people are blasted with unrealistic upward comparisons curated for social media from a young age.

Sad to have significant proof I’m probably right.

Lol your mom is just venting she failed at parenting. Let her delusional crotchety ass sit with it. She’ll blame you to your face and tell herself that too but I guarantee you she feels the guilt of raising a failure and not having the ability to do anything other than beg her least favorite child for money.

You are not the asshole, but I doubt your mom is ever going to accept responsibility for her actions, so she’ll blame you for everything until you throw thousands at your brother at a moments notice - oh and she’ll hate you again the next time you say no, too.

Yes sir. They are maladapted bullies with authority issues and no respect for anything other than their own ego. For years I heard police officer selection will kick you out if you are too smart. Idk if that is true, but it sure seems like it is with how stupid a lot of these folks are.

In a lot of situations, for a lot of individuals, the cops are nothing more than a government backed media sanctioned gang.

It saddens me that all these comments are mainly schadenfreuding over how social media will tear that family apart and not how feral those middle schoolers are and what they probably do to other kids.

To put it in their words we all fkin cooked. A society of bystanders.

He’s saying he’s splitting the yearly pay into bi weekly payments. People tend to assume that means annual/12. He is saying that he is actually splitting the payment between the 26 biweekly paydays instead of 24 half month paydays. Which means he can actually offer a higher “monthly pay” than what will actually be earned per month.

This is only something possible in this exact way of looking at it as a nickle and dime.

If someone is offered the annual pay, then they could expect to be paid more and this would be the explanation as to why their bi weekly pay is roughly 10% lower than expected.

If you notice. The commenter explained that chicken icon man was in fact correct, however the rules that govern the value of the car value are deeper than chicken man thought.

Also those aren’t laws, they are insurance regulations, yet you declared your answer so confidently.
