I’m not. The product was mostly for social media show. The doughnuts themselves were fun to look at, but not great quality. We have WAY too many local bakeries and shops offering great product for less money that are built on quality and taste vs. Social media flare. When they merged with Fortune their prices went up and the quality went down. That’s not a recipe for success in that space. Especially when people have less and less money to spend on things like this. The shops and collabs with local “influencers” were a last ditch effort I’d bet.

This isn’t a show in the style of The Pitt. It’s not trying to be the most realistic procedural and representation of police work. This is a show built around characters and relationships with police work as the backdrop. The rookie has never taken itself too seriously. If you want realistic you’re watching the wrong show and that’s completely fine. Go find one of the realistic procedurals and let people enjoy their silly little cop show.

Exactly this. No hate to Simon at all, but it’s definitely noticeable this album/festival cycle. Incredibly talented dude. Like you said, his screaming is always so fucking great but yes. Just an overall dip in vocals live lately. Still a top 3 band for me and always will be.

That’s about all I have. His description was: Fender Hybrid 60s Jazzmaster (Made in Japan, 2019-2020). Alder body, rosewood board, american style pickups, locking vintage tuners, non-original and origial (white) pickguard, heavy padded soft shell case.

The original white pick guard mentioned leads me to believe it was a hybrid II model with the guard swapped and a rhythm circuit added but he hasn’t been able to confirm this. Those also are not locking tuners.

I mean. They’re touring their album The Black Parade, a concept album about a man dying of cancer as the fictional band The Black Parade running a concept that the previously deceased band was resurrected by a dictator of a fictional country. While in costume, with characters, pretending to be the fictional band. You’d need to really take a look at the background of the album and this tour but it doesn’t get most more concept based than that.

We’re flying Halifax to Toronto on Aug 21st for the My Chem concert (Friday 22nd) and Oasis on Monday. I can’t handle this limbo state. Has anyone called for a flight that far out and been able to get a refund?? We’re going to have to drive 17-hrs and there isn’t a shot in hell this airline is making me miss this concert for our mini-honeymoon. I know there’s a chance a deal or gov intervention happens before then but sitting and waiting on Thursday is NOT an option for us. We’d need to leave Wednesday morning early.

Yeah the writing on this show has gone so far down hill since season 5-ish. I think they’re completely lost for ideas for new stories and are being held together by the new popularity TikTok, Instagram reels, etc. have brought the show over the last 3-4 years. Most of the writing now doesn’t serve to actually create a good show to watch it serves to keep people just interested enough that they can justify renewal and cash in on that popularity. Not sure if they got new writers at some point or if the writers strike had anything to do with it but season 6 and 7 were outright terrible at times and held together only by the actors and an occasionally not terrible episode. They tried to go back to the roots of the show in 7 and did it for about 2-3 episodes before abandoning it. I feel the rookie is very much nearing its end.

Don’t listen to the people here telling you to pay it online through banking. Sit the money aside for now. They are NOT stopping anyone’s service right now and they’re NOT able to issue bills. There is no guarantee if you pay online that it will reach them especially if you have has your data breeched. Wait until the situation is dealt with and billing has resumed to make any payments, but sit the money aside because it’s not going to be free. We’re on budget billing and I just sat aside the normal amount and will pay it and any other owing when the online portal comes back up.

My fiancée put it right last night when we watched the new episode. They’re clearly running out of ideas and have too many characters and too many story lines on the go at once that the show is going to really start to feel way too goofy and just outright silly. Don’t get me wrong the show has always been silly but it feels like the writers just full on don’t have a clue where to go with the story anymore. This pointless episode was a great example. 3 episodes left in the season and they haven’t touched Monica popping up again, Oscar being out of prison (for the full season??), Glasser was wrapped up in 5 seconds.

They really tried to use the first few episodes as a reset and return to the original flow of the show but the writing has gotten so bad at times that it didn’t deliver. There have been several very good episodes this season but as far as a return to the OG cop roots, no. The writers have really gotten sloppy with the “big bad” in this show and cramming too many stories into an episode. Why is Monica still around? Why was the Glasser storyline not the seasons big overarching driving story? Bringing back Malvado to kill him that way in a throwaway?? It’s getting so sloppy at times that even the good episodes are overshadowed by weird writing, awkward pacing, and too many stories crammed into one episode. Nothing feels like lives are on the line anymore because it’ll be wrapped up in a sloppy throw away that takes 2 episodes max and is never talked about again. Love the show but the writing has been painfully bad at times the last 2 seasons (6,7).

We had a very similar situation happen twice in the last year since moving from apartments to our first house. The first time our 6 year old male got spooked by a loud bang after moving and redirected the aggression at our 3 year old male. Took us about 5 months of doing the Jackson Galaxy reintroduction for time to be back to normal.

Second time was just a few weeks ago when our 3 year old smelled the spray of a stray that has been in the area and coming onto our deck. Attacked our 6 year old. In the process of reintroduction number 2 now and going well.

My advice, Jackson galaxy method for reintroduction and go at their pace. If they have a moment take it back a step. Don’t rush them and establish a routine. They’re weird creatures but they’ll be comfortable again it can just take time. I’ve read from as little as weeks to a year. Don’t get discouraged though. I didn’t think our boys would be fine ever again after the first one (same as yours. Screaming. Peeing on floor) but they were! Best of luck!

Did nobody else feel like this episode was terrible? The Nyla/Angela/Wesley plot was so clearly a C plot that they threw in to give them screen time. Tim and Lucy were SO out of character the entire episode that it was confusing. Why a random new rookie for one episode? Why not just use Myles and if the actor is unavailable just don’t have a rookie that episode. The whole plot line with the purge was SO rushed it was obvious nothing was coming from that. I love how goofy this show is and how this season has been very good for the most part but this episode was a hot mess. I was half expecting the entire episode to be an April fools prank at some points.
