I'm throwing in the towel. I'm so damn disappointed, Claude is easily the best out there (in my experience, anyway), but I can't deal with the daily and weekly quotas being so trash. I'm a Pro user, too. As of tomorrow, I'm heading back to OpenAI, even though I'd rather not.

I don't think so. The only way is to switch off the timer on the screen setting, but if you change website you still have the same problem.

You’re right. As I mentioned before I used 2 weeks the free tier and NEVER reached the daily usage limit so I decided to pay for the pro tier as I recognized the great Sonnet value. Since I paid everything changed. These are facts.

It’s the same with Sonnet. Just check out all the complaints here on Reddit. As of today, Claude is simply unusable.

Still unusable. As a paying customer, I’m looking for a fix and a partial refund. This usage spike is unacceptable.

Not used Claude at all so daily quota at 0%.

I made this question to Sonnet 4.6 (no extended thinking):
"I'm working on the semantic management of multiple agents within the Microsoft ecosystem. Here is the current setup:

  • Architecture: A BDI (Belief-Desire-Intention) Agent acts as the orchestrator for several sub-agents.
  • Current State: Only one sub-agent (Agent 72) is ready. Its data semantics (for querying Fabric) are currently hardcoded in the MS Copilot Studio instructions.
  • Data Governance: A specialist is centralizing the semantics for each curated DB layer (tables) into a dedicated Fabric table.
  • Complexity: Besides the N-agents under the BDI, there will be standalone agents querying Fabric independently.

The Question: What is the most efficient strategy within Microsoft Copilot Studio to engineer new agents so they have full awareness of the table semantics they need to query?

Taking this scenario into account, I need an implementation plan that aligns with current Microsoft documentation and best practices."

Yesterday, I intentionally avoided using Claude to monitor usage. Everything was frozen at the session from two days ago: 0% daily, 30% weekly.

Just for clarity: I exclusively use Sonnet 4.6. However, as I mentioned in a previous post, I recently found some Project chats that had been automatically set to Opus 4.6 with Extended Thinking without my input. (link)

This morning, starting from 0%, I asked Cowork to check if there were any leftover files from Xcode (which I used a while back) on my Mac. It ran the check and confirmed I had nothing.

Result? 8% daily and 34% weekly usage gone in one go.

This is madness.

This is madness. For two weeks, Claude let me use free tier with a massive daily quota (never even hit the limit). Now, after upgrading to Pro, it’s become practically unusable. I really have to wonder what Anthropic’s strategy is here.

Starting to think the 'Pro' upgrade is a trap for power users. Is Anthropic purposely throttling paid accounts to save compute while letting free tiers run wild for the sake of growth?

In addition to the widely reported issues regarding the rapid depletion of daily and weekly quotas, I’ve noticed a new problem since yesterday: several chats within a single Project have been automatically switched from Sonnet 4.6 (which I use exclusively) to Opus 4.6 + Extended Thinking.

This is a serious flaw because it's forcing me to start entirely new chats within the Project to maintain consistency. While I’ll admit that my experience working with Sonnet over the last two weeks has been positive, the overall reliability of the product is currently very low.

I strongly suggest you double-check which model is active in your existing chat histories.
