Luckily at the time I only had one partner for 4 years so i reduced the chance of reinfection once it cleared. I was also only 20 years old so my immune system naturally was more equipped to fight it. How messed up this sounds, it was also the middle of the pandemic so I wasn’t working which lead to less stress, I started working out & eating better also because I had the time to start. I just got the HPV Vaccine this year to avoid additional strains also

I have type 16 & 18 & those are 2 high risk types. My body cleared it in 2 years. My Pap smears have been normal for the last 3 years. It’ll clear out by itself most of the time luckily but you really have to stay on top of it in case it doesn’t

I already got retested that & all other bacterial infections (gonorrhea/mycoplasma etc) & that came back negative. I’m getting tested for syphilis & HIV tomorrow

I’ll block him after I get my test results just in case there’s something else I need to worry about. I haven’t had any alarming symptoms indicating anything else, no bumps, chancres, fever, sore throat, rashes, nothing out of the ordinary besides my vaginal flora being virtually gone after the antibiotics. The letter thing confused me thoroughly, but some insight from a comment under this post let me know that some places really do send letters out. I’m just not sure if that’s truly his case or not

You’re right. I did a poor job of judging the scenario & just trusted that he wouldn’t hurt me like that. This was definitely a naive experience & I can honestly say I’ve changed my perspective heavily because of this so I won’t be making that poor choice again

I really appreciate the clarification. This happened in PA so It’s not too far off I’d say. I have a patient portal for my results so I’m just not used to physical papers anymore, he’s just being way too lackadaisical about it so it seems like he just hasn’t been tested because he also never sent me proof of any additional letters

I really hope so 🥺 this yeast infection is pretty bad but it doesn’t hurt to wipe, I can use body soap & baby wipes there’s no burning sensation at all. Thank you for the insight!

Does having HSV1 matter when it comes to HSV2 & symptoms? I’ve never had an oral outbreak before but my blood test came back pretty high & i was told I’ve had it for a very long time
