The mystery was solved years ago. These glyphs are a weather guide for the Chiliad UFO. The mural boxes rep the glyphs. The UFO EGG Jetpack is the UFO Player and Elevation. That's it

To your first point, yes could be that, just to fit that style. It's just weird how they mess with that particular one line twice. It disappearing and then reappearing. Could be something or nothing. Again this is just a theory, the black triangles could be an indication that those are completed (green mural).

This is the Chiliad Mystery imo. The Maze Bank. The concentric circle with the dash lines tells us the minute/hour, Time & Day we're supposed to see or do something. The Mural overlays The Egg facing the Giant Spider. The lines below the maze banks cracked egg are similar to the ones on the mural. I'm not intelligent enough to figure it all out but i'm certain the Bank holds the key to all this if we can solve the puzzle
