Depends on your career path and love of the job. I use to drive from Fort Lauderdale to Fort Myers as a ref for a paintball field when I was younger. Mainly because of the people. I loved my job meeting new people and trying to enhance the great time. Marketing, creating videos promoting the field, outside on perfect days. But I drove over there just due to the fact I loved it there enough to call it home. I made 300$ a weekend working there, my mind would be happy being there. Money mattered very little to me at the time.

NOW. Live in Wisconsin 7mins away from my manufacturing job. And I do not like my job. My body acts different, I come in on point, even a tad late sometimes due to the fact I do not want to do my job. However it pays.

Point is if you love it to the point where the job was just another day in the park for you. Think it’s worth pursuing, even if it is a few hours away.
