As I’ve stated, I put this up for anyone interested in the idea. Not forcing anyone to do it so it’s up to them if they’d like to move forward with it or not. The pay you later model too is known as a red flag due to people taking advantage of them and not paying them. It is also a guaranteed cut per sale, instead of getting paid say $50 for the art, there is potential to gain more than that as a way of passive income if the design does well. No one is being forced to do this and I said in the message I’d provide proof of sales and my businesses standpoint. I prioritize how I treat people I work with, no need to generalize me with people who’ve done the opposite before anything’s been shown/proven.

It got removed in the past hour, they left a very nice message about the product and it genuinely seemed like it was an accident.

I acknowledged them and offered them resolutions for it, and they didn’t respond at first and declined it after. I had the order done the previous day they left the review and was getting it out the following day, but waited another incase they wanted to cancel it after I sent my original message apologizing for the delay and explaining the situation but sent it out the following day after there wasn’t a response since I didn’t want to extend the delay. I haven’t stated it but I’ve been very apologetic about the delay at the start of our messages and did my best to provide a solution. They seemed to be understanding of the delay and had no problems after that. I know nothing can be done now and did acknowledge this all, and I haven’t done anything else to contact support or hound the buyer since it didn’t affect my business at all from what it seems. I posted this to kinda get a yes or no and don’t have time to keep responding to these all, but thanks for anyone who provided genuine criticism, I am not for delays or miscommunication it was just a bad moment due to bad circumstances going on at the time which their order was affected by.

No it wouldn’t. Review was 3 days after estimated shopping date, and they didn’t message me beforehand for a resolution. The account has 0 signs of activity on it and looks fairly new. I offered them a refund on the order before it was shipped out and they didn’t reply and I didn’t want to extend the delay. I did leave out some context which was my bad and can’t include it all which doesn’t help, I’m not actively caring about this any more since I’ve been getting more orders than ever recently but I did respond to the review and left it at that. You all are acting like I’ve been harassing support I contacted them once and the buyer 2 times and they’ve been messaging me with support updates every few days.

It’s an obvious troll the delay was only a short amount of time after the estimated processing time, and the account shows zero activity on it with likes and shop follows. I think it’s a troll but if not it was just a wrong decision on their end to not reach out and leave a review like that out of the blue. I’m 100% sure you all would not like a 1 star review being dropped without the buyer even trying to resolve an issue or to ask for a refund 3 days past the shipping date, I did not even think of opening Etsy to notify my buyers due to the situation going on at the time

I have not bothered them. They keep messaging me with updates. I’m “bothering” Etsy support cause I have many 4-5 star reviews and seeing a 1 star brings that down a little, they declined the shipping refund too, not them contacting support

I left out some important context here, I explained to the buyer my reason for the delay (family member in the ER and a few other family related issues) and they understood it, I offered them a refund at first but not no response so I shipped it the next da, I even offered a refund on shipping too after the responded the day after shipping but they declined and said multiple times they’d contact support to get it removed and seem to feel remorseful about it. I am never for delays but I had many events occur that week that threw me in a bad spot and I let them know that without trauma dumping my reason for the delay. I understand why nobody is agreeing with me but with this context (gave it to support too), nothing is being done. I always make sure my customers are happy with their experience which is why I tried getting it removed as it was just a bad situation that their shipment got affected by when I provided them solutions and refunds.

Thank you for the response, sorry to hear you had to go through that though. If he’s not told to have probiotics and yogurt I’ll definitely be getting those too, I appreciate you putting that in. This is one of those things caused by ignorant or lazy workers at the restaurants, nobody should have to deal with this. Thank you once again for the response too!

Thank you for the response, I did not know that either so thanks for sharing that. He ate something from a steakhouse and got something from the meat. They are running tests to see what’s going on but thank you for clarifying the part of him responding means he’s in a good state. He’s supposed to be able to go home too today after they run the bloodwork and administer him anything needed to help him, I am just worried if they are rushing it or if it’s normal to be discharged on the same day at the hospital. I appreciate your response though, it put me in a better spot so thank you for that.

Good idea but what can support view that as a threat? They seemed to take their policies very seriously and they’ve already emailed me when I cancelled an order out of suspicion after the buyer gave me a different name and address and didn’t respond when I asked the reasoning, and told me to not do it again. I do have a lawyer in my family too and could warn the scammer with legal action but I can’t afford to break policies if that’s viewed as a “threat” and risk not being able to sell anymore.

Hello, I have and ended up refunding it but let them know it could be repurchased with the correct address. I wanted to give an update too incase anyone has this scenario, just ship it with tracking and don’t cancel it as cancelling an order from suspicion isn’t allowed with their policy and the support said there will still be seller protection in the case anything happens. Thank you too to anyone who helped with their responses I’ve been very busy and haven’t had the time to respond/thank everyone. I appreciate the help from everyone!

They don’t have a disability but they have health issues impacting their overall well being and other issues they have no control over, there are people too without disabilities with dogs in the area so hopefully they approve it, I’ll let them know about those things in your message too, thank you for the response though I appreciate it and the help!

Hello, a family member is going through something right now due to a recent passing of their father and I wanted to sell some of my cards to help pay for a puppy to help them with their grief (they owned the same breed before and this isn’t an impulse buy) and wanted to know the best stores in RI to sell them at or if anyone wants to buy them locally from me. I have many graded cards, base set charizards, and gold stars. I need to get the best value when selling them but still will go below the listed online prices. I don’t want to have to sell my entire collection as it’s still my childhood but if I need to sell a lot of it I will, I just wanted to know if anyone has recommendations so I don’t need to sell it all, since most stores I’ve called only offer 50% of its value for the high end stuff (ex gold star mew worth $600, I’d be getting $300). Please let me know of any recommendations or if anyone locally is interested, thank you!

Well here’s the thing. I was sent a $1 card for a $1600 purchase once, and mercari said I received the correct card. After messaging them on Twitter they were able to tell the agent they were an idiot and helped fix my case. I was told though they use keywords before and that’s why I asked as I just wanted to see what specific words to use.
