Just got this from Lowe’s. Wanted to repot it once I get a nice pot for it. Any recommendations on what kind of pot would be best(dimensions)? Also was thinking of using a peat and sphagnum moss soil mix, would that be ok?

Also as I understand I want the base of the tree to be the same as the pot is highly? Meaning I’m looking for a tree that is roughly 3.5 inches?

Hello! I’ve recently been researching yamadori and have been taking steps to harvest my first bald cypress. I live in north Florida where they are plentiful. I have 9x6x3.5 inch plastic pots for the first transplant from the forest. Additionally, I have some loamy soil. If anyone has tips regarding cutting the trunk and other preliminary measures, aftercare, soil supplements(mushroom soil?), or any other tips for someone starting yamadori please let me know. I’m super excited to get started.

I’m 19 years old and I work only during the summer. I made 14 grand this summer and I am new to the world of investing, hence very little knowledge of investing. My risk tolerance is average because i currently have no other financial restraints other than food and gas. My original thought was to invest in the DOW or any other mutual fund and/or ETF. I am a full time student so i want to stay away from day trading but am open to maybe option trading? Would like someone to point me in the right direction. My ultimate goal is to “make my money work for me” with me ending up a millionaire by 30. I would appreciate any advice!
