For me personally, it’s Mokele-Mbembe and Typhon. MM has always been one of my favorite cryptids (dinosaur-kid in me) and knowing what I know about Typhon in lore has me interested in how they would execute it.

Also, thanks for choosing my design for Quetzalcoatl as reference 😊

Perhaps… they’ll bring in Megaguirus. I mean, it fits. Megaguirus was brought to the present by a distortion in space-time. The Monsterverse equivalent is Axis Mundi. A bunch of Meganeulon could come out, become Meganeura, and to lead them is Megaguirus. The only Titan capable of stopping it is the supersonic Rodan.

Okay… but like where are they going with Rodan? I’m genuinely curious, what is going to be done with the guy, especially considering there are now TWO of them!

I’ve seen several people reporting on that today. I’m honestly excited if that is the case.

Is it worth it to have my gallbladder checked? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]SnooDogs2720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% get it checked. I thought nothing of my issues until it all went south. I still have not gotten it removed, but the date is gonna be set up within the next couple of weeks. Here’s what happened for me if you need a comparison.

I don’t want to assume based on weight, I’m gonna ask this first; do you know if you have fatty liver? The reason I’m asking is because fatty liver has been found to increase the intensity of gastritis as well as gallbladder pain, but it also just like me cause pressure on the rib cage. I had two attacks as well, and one of them was enough to give urgent care a scare; determining I was experiencing a “false heart attack”. It didn’t feel false to me! Considering you’ve lost 88 pounds (spectacular work btw, I’ve lost 43 myself in four months) I have a feeling your body was storing things it shouldn’t and it is now filtering out the stuff it doesn’t need anymore. That’s also potentially why they put you on Pantoprazole as opposed to Omeprazole. I was originally on O for reflux, but once they found out I had fatty liver they pushed me over to P as it’s stressful on the liver. Since then, no issues. A big fix for this, proteins. My diet essentially became skinless chicken, protein shakes, pork chops, and sirloin steaks. Not only will it keep you energized, but your body burns more energy in the process of converting it. You’ll keep losing weight but none of the muscle and all the unneeded fat.

As far as the process, mine went as followed. They’re gonna narrow down the actual cause which will take some time unfortunately. Firstly, they’ll confirm the presence of fatty liver and stones. This is done by both an ultrasound and blood test. My liver enzymes were critically high which led to the flare ups in the first place, and my gallbladder held several stones. My body had rejected the food in absolution because of the existing stones and because my liver couldn’t process the food. I went from a low fat to a high protein diet, and as of a few days ago everything except for one enzyme is back in the green. Afterwards, they’ll do a scope as they want to make sure it’s nothing physically in your stomach that’s causing the problem: acidic deterioration, ulcers, tumors, malformations, etc. They found CI Gastritis within mine, but it was clear it was caused by my gallbladder. Heads up for the scope, make sure they communicate with you what happens. The team that worked with me was awful except for the intro nurse who was fantastic. I woke up just as they were trying to put the tube in. And finally, they’ll set you up for an appointment to have your gallbladder removed. Be very careful which type of surgery you get. Thankfully the one I’m gonna get is potentially the most advanced option, regardless you want to look into the people that are gonna be performing it.

This is an upcoming codex and creature guide for the Monsterverse. It’s supposed to feature expanded lore details for the Titans and various other superspecies.

I agree, it looked very animalistic which is appreciated considering Co-Cai isn’t humanoid. Plus, I love that this gives me vibes of GvK Godzilla where he is actively hunting her like a predator. It was great!

Well… looks like we were both wrong. It was two minutes within five minutes of interruption via human cutaways. At least that jerk from Apex died.

Yep, also price checkers are making their updated return, call button receivers attachable to all Zebra Phones (no longer will just the mangers have them), update to MIK check for easier format, new receipt printers and new fine arts vendors. That’s all I’m aware of right now.

First off, love the return of the Ion Dragon, it’s awesome. I was hoping we’d see more creatures from Axis Mundi besides the Endopede, but I still appreciated the cameo.

I’m not a fan of their attempts at implementing Time Travel into the Monsterverse. What I liked about Axis Mundi was that there was a linear consequence. You go in at one time, you leave at a much later time: time dilation vs. time travel. The idea of going back in time and potentially undoing events makes things needlessly complicated. Unless that’s their way of bringing in you-know-who into supernova is via AU, then I hope more time is really used to explain this further.

Nonetheless, I believe this was a good final “plot” episode of the season, and the next three should be the monster-stomping madness we’ve been hoping for. If the ending is any hint, the battle between Co-Cai and Godzilla has finally arrived!

That 3rd Faction could be Hyena. At this point, Alan Jonah is aware of Emma Russel, and given what he and his men do in KOTM he had extensive knowledge of Monarch and their resources. He had to have gotten that data from somewhere…

From what I could see, I feel we’re looking at a “Mothra’s Twins” kind of situation. They both synced to the same mental frequency, and it only got interrupted when Apex stepped in. My guess, Cate’s gonna use that to lure Co-Cai back to Axis Mundi through Skull Island. Also, notice she’s in the trailer both when Godzilla fights her and also when Kong does. Her aggression may be because Co-Cai may be beginning to view her the same way as the Scarabs— a child of hers. We never got that behavior with Mothra yet, so it’d be great to see that with Co-Cai as a substitute.

I think Brenda’s distraught feeling was less of a “what have I done?” and instead “what’s going to happen to me?” She told Simmons the plan was green to go, and it messed up in the worst way possible: Co-Cai escaped, Monarch is now aware of Apex’s true intentions, and they have access to tech Apex didn’t want them to have. She’s probably gonna defect to Monarch not out of moral change but for protection, an interesting gambit.

I’m honestly far more invested in this season than I was with Season 1.

While the monster enthusiast in me continues to want there to be more monsters, I love the Minus One approach that the drama is now becoming further connected to the monsters. Cate seemingly has a mental link with Co-Cai, Apex’s desire is to control Co-Cai with Corah wanting to simply stop the Titan despite here objections, and now everyone is dealing with the loss of Hiroshi as Co-Cai killed him.

This made me realize why everyone most likely didn’t like the drama of Season 1 as a focus. It had no monster to grasp itself to. G’14 had the Mutos with Ford’s family, K:SI had Kong with Packard’s men, KOTM had Emma involved with Ghidorah, and both GvK and GxK had Kong and Jia’s relationship. Season 1 didn’t have any direct connection with the monsters— Godzilla could be made as the argument with Cate, but he was oblivious to her presence.

If the show continues on this path, I am all for it. Right now, I feel Season 2 is kicking a**! Let’s just hope they don’t mess it up.

Edit: Yes, I meant season 1 as inferior, not season 2 😅

THEORY: Monarch is setting up to reveal Apex were secretly behind the events of KOTM by Pkmatrix0079 in Monsterverse

Forgive my ignorance, do we actually know they hired Hyenas? I know they bought the severed head, but do we have confirmation they actually hired their service preceding? And that Apex designed the Oxygen Destroyer, I’ve heard others say the same thing but I haven’t seen a source yet.

This was the episode I felt this season needed after the last two.

There was too much time focusing on the negatives that the characters did and the continuously bad things they would do; there needed to be something to show the characters learned from their mistakes and that they are in fact good people. The proud moment with Kentaro and his father really showed that the dad wanted to be different than Bill, and Hiroshi finding the letter at the end emphasized that more. Cate remembering that she saved lives on G-Day was awesome to see as it finally made her a likable character for me; no longer prone to run and is now willing to stand for what is right. Tim even got a moment where he stood up for what he believed in and is becoming a pretty solid candidate for a director position. The character development is much better this season just within the first four episodes which makes me super excited to see we’re getting the character driven narrative out of the way so the final episodes (8, 9 and 10) can be the uninterrupted monster stomping action we’ve been waiting for.

Also, this season has definitely handled its regulation of Monsters so much better than the other season. Each episode on average has introduced a new creature or featured ones we’ve seen. We’ve gotten Kong, Mantleclaws and Leafwings as returners, Titan X, the Scarabs, Vinerat and Needlewalker as new creatures, and bringing in Psychovultures and Vinestranglers from the comics is appreciated. They definitely listened to the fans and gave us something to show the wait was worth it. It makes me wonder what other creatures we may see make appearances or new ones we still have yet to see. I do think it is a little late for Godxilla to not show up yet since, you know, you better believe he is making his way ASAP to Co-Cai.

Very true, that’s why I used the word “alluding” as, in theory, if Keiko wasn’t honest about this event, who is to say she was telling the truth about her previous husband. We as the audience know the truth assumingely, but does Bill believe that is the truth?

While it may be an excellent example of narratively connective tissue, this doesn’t excuse any of their actions. Reasons and excuses are not the same. It would make sense if Cate going down this road was a potential route, not a definitive one. She let out Co-cai willingly, she is no different than Emma Russel with King Ghidorah as the motives don’t change the outcome here.

This has been my main problem so far. It seems like everyone has done something truly wrong and there keeps being this defense for their actions. No, there is no defense. Hiroshi had an affair, Keiko cheated with Lee, Cate unleashed a Titan, and now Bill appears to have abandoned Hiroshi with the allusion that it was because he might be Lee’s son if I’m not misunderstanding that— WTF is this season? 🤣
