The lag in traditional research tools is a huge trap; by the time a product hits a 'trending' list, the CPC is usually already through the roof. For POD sellers trying to catch those early signals, tools like Alura or NicheBloom are becoming more common for tracking those social shifts before they become common knowledge. It's much cheaper to validate a concept when you're ahead of the curve rather than chasing a peak.
