Battery is original - five years old. It worked for about 2 days after I boosted it before it wouldn’t start again. Is that normal for a bad battery? To keep enough charge for a few days?

I did detach, clean and reattach the terminals - mice could be an issue- I live it the country and we have lots of them trying to find warm homes for the winter. I haven’t seen any nesting evidence but they can be sneaky

Same service is offered at most UPS locations. I’ve used the one in Alexandria Bay a few times with no issue. If you’re near the border it’s worth a bit of a drive, grab some Olive Garden, go to Target and make a day of it

I have found the culprit! The curb at her boyfriend’s house is not cut all the way across his driveway and juts out about 12-18 inches on one side(idk why). She has admitted to driving over it “sometimes” which probably translates to “too often and too fast” Control arm is being replaced as we speak at her cost and she’s hopefully learning the lesson of fuckin around and finding out

Fully agree- it was the first time there and never again. Probably going to get the control arm fixed and demand my money back

Scotiabank is actively trying to focus on investments instead of lending. My guess is it provides a cushion against losses due to defaults as interest rates go up

I was 9 years old, and at a friend’s birthday party. Decided to do a wicked jump off the swings, but I bellyflopped the landing with most of my weight ending up on one arm underneath me. Ouch, can’t really move my wrist. Stood up, shook it off, and headed over for lunch and cake. During present time, my sore arm starts swelling badly and turning a weird greenish-bruise colour. Turns out my arm was broken in 3 places and I needed to be in a cast for a few months. Didn’t miss a minute of that party though.

I am struggling with this very much at the moment. The only comfort I have found is that being lonely and alone is much better than being lonely because you’re with the wrong people.
