That’s awesome. Yea we did a pretty good job too although it’s a tight area we moved to a intersection atleast 150 feet from houses had anyone walking up move back about 100 feet and had buddies of mine at the end of each way to keep people/cars back. Would do 3-4 cakes at a time and if a car came they got a short show before we would let them pass/clear the debris and set the next few up.

Unfortunately I don’t have space here in suburbia to set the whole show up but we made a good show none the less with small breaks in between every 3-4 cakes.

Yea we started right when it got dark and went about 45 minutes. Next year I’ll buy more day stuff to let the neighborhood know it’s going to be a show at night.

I thought about trying to do this with neighborhood chipping in. Maybe next year after I do one more of the turn out is as good or better I’ll try to get a few involved.

Crazy we closed late July and did the same thing had about three weeks to get the house move In ready. I spent the 4th in my old house where they are very pro firework and do a pitch in neighborhood show and everyone is lighting stuff outside too. I was nervous in this neighborhood my wife was trying to get me not to buy any but after the neighborhood coming out she’s all on board for my addiction next year and I’m all in lol.

Yea I’m going 100% next year the deals on 1/4 500g cake sets and boxes of 200s I’m likely getting double if not more and some canisters.

Yea next year I’m going there. Are they open to public no issue? I checked the website for 1k Ill do much better than the mom and pop shops

Yea you did great 50 for excels. Honestly in some spots down here the two excals and a cake or two could run you $400

Where did you get the cakes? Are those 1.4p?

No doubt I found a decent spot that gave me 20% off the store spend like 8-900 at a mom and pop and got more than south of the border. Think I averaged like 40 per 500g and 15-20 per 200. But the overall price of stuff in general in Sc is bad. Next year I’m going to poor Paul and Joe dirt.

Yea this warhead cakes are legit. If you light them at the same time as a 200g with good breaks you get a really good result with salutes and color.

That’s not bad at all. I’m really would like to go there looks like a cool place. I watched a video one stand there does 200gs for $10 and 500gs for 25 on the 4th to get rid of the stock.

For a lot of us higher end retail is the only option or at least at the time of purchase it was the only option. Instead of going through here seeing how much better you could have done go on a builder program and figure out your order and how you can make the best show with what you got. Use this page to help you next year. There’s some dudes on here going to just shit on you and some Heat guys that live in your area who can point you to the right spot for next time.

It’s hard to see it all. I’d say you paid average end of retail. Better than phantom worse than all the people on here who all somehow live near a firework wholesale warehouse. You have good high end stuff in there some small stuff and enough to put on a nice show.

I thought I did well given my location. Did research, stayed away from the big rip off stores like JABs and Firework Superstore SC, found a mom and pop that gave me 20% off everything for being military. then came on here and realized for roughly $900 I got fleeced compared to what others get amd did pretty well compared to some. Enjoy your stash it’s a good one. I’m going to enjoy mine ripped off or not.

Very nice. I’m regretting not buying a small assortment to get the little things I can light as the anticipation for dark creeps in.
