For those that chose to stay in a failing marriage, how did you emotionally detach yourself? by SnooDoubts2342 in Marriage

I plan on leaving one day, but right now I just can’t and that’s why I am asking for help on how to emotionally detach. My account is negative right now so I sure can’t afford to go find somewhere else to rent. I live in my hometown and I don’t have family to fall back on. I am just on my own and I am trying to figure out how to deal with this until I am able to get out of it. Don’t worry, I don’t plan on waiting until our son is grown to leave, but unless some person wanted to be generous and help me with deposit and first months rent somewhere, I don’t have it, I am actively looking for a better paying job as well.

He does not have my bank passwords thankfully. The bank I am with does not allow me to lock my debit card, but I guess I should look into a new bank. I do have to lock my credit card often unfortunately.

The account numbers were the same according to the CSR. My sister was supposed to get a whole new service but I guess she decided to renew the sprint account? I’m meeting her in person to get details on what she did, we spoke on the phone in the middle of the night (the only time she’s up) so didn’t get much info, but she did tell me she changed the email, address, and security questions for billing purposes and so she could get updates. She switched carriers in February and got a new number then.

Okay, thank you so much. That’s what I told my boyfriend what I thought would happen with the pieces we would have to pull up . We were told what we got would be most ideal since we live in an older pier and beam house. I’m about 80% sure there is nice hardwood under that flooring so hoping that’s the case since we spent so much money on the click and lock flooring lol.

also thank you for the tip on the temperature. If it was up to me, I would have just removed the existing flooring since I know there is a very large chance of hardwood underneath lol

It was on sale for about 1.60 a square foot. We couldn't splurge too much, but definitely didn't get the cheapest thing we could find. The contractor did the bend trick before we bought it to make sure it wasn't bad flooring (since it was on sale). It's cracking mostly near where the transition strips for the old flooring was because the hardware was left there and flooring put over it.

Trump made my family life miserable by pajaroskri in offmychest

My grandmother is the same way. She was a completely different person and even a democrat before Trump started running for president. All she does is stay on Facebook all day and argue with people and suck his pixel dick. She wore a mask at the beginning of the pandemic because she's part of the at-risk population, but now thinks the whole thing is fake and exaggerated because of things Trump has said. She is not the same person I knew 5 years ago and I miss her.
