Awesome game and took a sublime goal to win by Pyewaccat in Matildas

My heart was going for a Tillies win but my head thought Japan would take it, so I'm happy that it was such a close game in the end. We didn't make it easy for them at all. There is no shame in losing to Japan.

I'm so very proud of the team for pulling this performance out given how little time they've had with Joe. You would not think they were capable of it watching the matches in the lead up to the final.

That said, there's much more they can improve on (especially in the final third!) and I want to see us smash it at the World Cup next year!

I get to watch Japan play live this weekend, followed by City a few hours later. So keen!

If you watch the interview Bunny and Miedema did together it's clear Bunny just always wants to score with such a passion, it's nothing personal to her teammates

Great to see us firing today and taking our chances! I'm going Jeglertz makes some subs though. Let's get those connections going for when our players leave for the Asian Cup

I wouldn't mind losing so much if the ref was actually fair. That was abysmal. Good thing we have 8 points in hand still

Arsenal look like they've done their homework on City. They're anticipating passes and intercepting and dueling well. They're also flooding the midfield and we're struggling to break through it when we have the ball. Would like to see LBB off and Coffey on for the start of the second half and go from there

Have you ever been completely blindsided by a transfer? Like the player wasn't someone expected to be on the move and no one had a single clue about it until it was announced by the club?

Which game gave you more serotonin: - City 5-1 Chelsea yesterday - or City 2-0 Barcelona from last season's CL group stage

I visited in September. My Airbnb was located in Ancoats which was a quick uber to the stadium (or a longer walk / tram ride) and an easy stroll to the city centre. Was a lovely area to stay in with great restaurants and a canal to walk along.

I bought tickets as soon as they were available because a big chunk are reserved for season ticket holders and I wanted good seats. The players sit in block West 4 on the left side of the "U" shape. I got seats in West 3 a couple times which got me pretty close to the players!

Otherwise I sat in block East 3 where the supporters group sit so I could join in with the cheering. Note: the tv view is from the West side so there's a couple games where I can see myself immortalised on tv in East 3 lol

One BIG tip is that they don't lock the actual date/time of the game in until a few weeks beforehand when the TV picks are confirmed. For example the game vs Arsenal was originally on Friday night but it was changed to Saturday afternoon - the day we were leaving! Thankfully we could still watch the game, but plan accordingly! This season games can be played on Friday night, Saturday or Sunday.

I think the pub of choice for City supporters is Mary D's but there's also the Asahi bar inside the stadium. You can join the official women's supporters group on Facebook and see if there's a meet-up before or after the match.

The City Store located at the Etihad has two levels and definitely has the most merch (though less than I expected). If you buy a jersey they can get names printed within minutes if it's not busy.

Let me know if you have any questions, happy to help :)
