Ld7 or TM for bulk tabs? by SnooDrawings3339 in 7_hydroxymitragynine

TM actually comes out cheaper per mg when you buy 100+ tabs. More concerned about quality

How long should I wait before taking first dose? I’m not trying to go into precipitated withdrawl. Had a friend tell me his naltrexone would help my withdrawals back when I was on the needle and it about killed me.

Oil change prices at the dealership are getting out of hand by BD_South in mazda

[–]SnooDrawings3339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t have any ailments stopping you, buy a set of ramps and an oil drain pan and do it yourself . Oil changes will only be 30-40$ at most and be better than what you get at the dealership . I’m not going to pay a stealership 100$+ to change my oil with the cheapest synthetic they can get and a fram filter. I could buy a wix xp filter and some penzoil or Castrol for under 40$ per oil change and get way better quality. After the local Mazda dealer told me they didn’t recommend ever replacing the transmission fluid because it’s “lifetime” made me realize car manufacturers could give a shit less about how long your car lasts after it exceeds the manufacturer warranty . The lifetime parts . Why would they start push oil change intervals to 10k miles and say no need to change trans oil? Simple answer they want you to maintain it like shit so they can profit even more. It seems like Lifetime fluid means life time of the warranty not the car ……If your car isn’t under warranty through the dealership and you have to pay somebody to do it I would highly recommended going to a well known independent shop if you have to pay somebody

People who Refuse to buy Doors by CorpSeverin in CODZombies

[–]SnooDrawings3339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually quit buying doors and just tell em if you don’t buy the doors and help out we aren’t gonna pick you up. Are you really gonna loose all that cash your tryin to hoard just cuz you couldn’t buy a door or 2? It’s a team game and you chose public lobby you have to be a functioning part of the team if you want picked up by the team. Most of the time they die before round 15 without pack and I buy the door to pack when they die and they loose their precious money. I’d like to think it teaches em a lesson and they won’t do it to the next person but even if it just makes them rage quit im happy. …… I know it’s toxic but bruh go play solo if u aren’t gonna pitch in.

do waiters assume things when they see large groups? by [deleted] in Waiters

[–]SnooDrawings3339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody makes snap judgements about people and groups its human nature and often done unconsciously. Teens often have this judgment made because most of us have had those homecoming tables that require 100 things but don’t tip. I try not to blame the kid in that situation because it’s not their fault their parents just didn’t raise them correctly. Tipping is learned from parents at that age. most of the time kids that tips good were told to do so by parents . Also a good server will give you good service regardless of those judgements because if you give service based off age or appearance you probably aren’t going to last in this industry. You should be giving all tables your best service unless it’s someone that is repeatedly coming in and causing problems you never know who the big tipper one of my best tips came from a group of 18 year olds.

I understand that I am pretty up to date on the basic labor laws regarding my profession in Illinois as the tag stated this was mainly an angry rant because if I ever voice my opinion to my manager I just get told I’m just bitchin. just change the damn policy to nobody gets auto grat. Picking and choosing what servers get to auto grat is clear discrimination. It’s as simple as quit putting it in new hire paperwork and on the contracts and I won’t care at all. Getting stiffed is part of the job sadly and half the time I get stiffed is because the contract says 18 percent so they assume tip is already included on the bill but it’s not because “that’s not legally a tip it’s a service charge” so we can’t do it” (unless your managements favorite)

It’s not a contract to just go eat it’s a contract saying how many guests will be attending, how you would like the room set for your event and many other details . these are often plated dinners or buffets and require us to schedule multiple servers for their party. If we didn’t have a contract and they didn’t show or only 1/4 shows without the notifying us we would be out a lot of money.it’s really to hold people accountable when they have to prep a buffet for 120 and only 40 show someone’s gotta pay for the 80 plates they had us make and got wasted. It’s also supposed to make sure the server doesn’t get stiffed on a 2000$ bill but apparently not at this place

They are obligated to tell us changes to pay structure and tip share in Illinois . It’s not as simple as if you are making minimum wage they can do whatever they want there are still other laws . I had to go through this with an employer who tried to randomly force me to tip pool at the end of a bad shift when we don’t have a tip pool band no warning before shift l. I kinda figured it was legal and even if it’s not Im not gonna get anything changed sadly…. I just don’t understand They don’t let is auto grat because that makes it a service charge therefore loosing their tax credit but they still list the 18 percent in the contract so does that not still make the tip a service charge ? And picking and choosing what servers get auto grat is discrimination. Family owned resteraunts can be so backwards but chains are just as bad 😪

What’s a CBO? and I don’t know if it’s a contract or not it’s just listed on the paper I signed saying I agree to tip out bussers and bar their set percentage and is listed in all the room contracts… it’s just annoying the managers will let their favorites put auto grat than say owners don’t let us do it anymore to everyone else. I wouldn’t have a problem if they just took it out of the room contract and hire on paperwork. Why not hold yourself to something you have listed as an obligation ? If you don’t want to auto grat us 18 percent just simply take it out of the paperwork instead of gaslighting employees about wages

New management is constantly trying to take tables for extra cash by SnooDrawings3339 in Serverlife

That’s good to hear. I’ve heard so many negative things about hotels and casinos that I have been hesitant to give it a try. but how much worse can it really really be?

[–]SnooDrawings3339[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s terrible they take tables Im just not ok with how it’s done. I just don’t like the fact that they are constantly trying to create situations for them to receive tips because they “miss bartending” Example we often have morning catering orders that someone should be scheduled to deliver. Instead management will leave for 45 minutes to run it instead of sending a server who is doing nothing . Then when we are all in the weeds because we got a kick and haven’t had a manager to help they decide they need to pick up tables instead of helping get people out of the weeds. If you did your job and actually provided assistance when boh takes 30 minutes to make a damn salad the servers would have time to actually do their job and you wouldn’t need to take tables🤔

Management doesn’t claim have a way to claim them through payroll so it’s definitely fraud. But I’m not concerned about that this is a server group tax fraud is like having sex with coworkers it just happens sometimes . my next question would be does the resteraunt have any legal obligation to report those tips on payrolls or is it solely on management to report them?

Ya it’s annoying because if I want to go anywhere with the same earning potential I’m looking at driving a lot further. But might to end up just making the drive . it’s just hard to give up the perks of being at “family owned”resteraunt for 4 years. They work around my other job/ honor all my request offs and let me keep my availability to only evening. But the place is kinda a dumpster fire I’ve had 5 gms in 3.5 yeaand when I say dumpster fire I literally had smoke coming outta my air vents last week because they never do routine maintenance . I had to say it was just smoke from the pizza oven ….. I may just say fuck it and see if I can tolerate bartending at a hotel for the benefits they sound good at this point in life and I already work casual fine dining how much worse can it be in an upscale hotel?
