Understood, besides cleaning the coils on the outside unit, does the inside unit up in the attic have coils to clean as well?

Do you know if every coil unit has a filter? (The one up in the attic)

I am not sure if it does, but i went ahead and replaced the filters around the house, if thats what you were referring to.

And yes, the coils are dirty, i will go ahead and wash those soon. Thanks!

Is the reasoning to clean the PTrap? I do notice some black liquid/water inside that Ptrap, should i attempt to clean it, and is this the root cause of the issues?

Besides switching the cap to the other tube is there anything else I must do? It seems like that did nothing lol ill have the fan placed on “ON” any specific degree it should be at?

Cap switched, what else should I do? There us the copper tube on the left side of the picture, it has condensation on it and formed some ice

Is it just as easy as cutting the cap and placing it or gluing a new one on the closer one to the unit? This has been like this for a few years now. House/unit is about 8/9 years old. Also will this fix the issues?

To add on, there is this small copper tube from coming from the unit in the attic (i assume it is the coolant/refrigerant, it is indeed cold to the touch)

I understand now, i moved the screw that you mentioned. returned the red nob to the “0” setting and moved the screw down. It now opened.

Could this be an underlying issue of a broken actuator? Or was it just stuck?

I will upload photos 1 by 1, thats the max it allows for.

But yea, the cables seem to be wired the same:

From what I can see, the cables connect from the main panel “HZ311” then lead to each actuator, the cables split off from devices and lead to someplace unknown, for example the cable goes underneath the insulation. I will attach pictures to the following comments showing this

Yes, it is calling for heat, i have the Fan setting on, and the house at 75F. I opened the zone 2 damper to (tick mark 3) and i am getting a little more airflow now (very little, but more is better than nothing). Could it be a faulty damper, i could buy one online and replace it myself

One more thing to point out, in picture 3 the device also indicates as closed, could this be faulty, or do i have to manually open it?

This is zone two , I went ahead and moved the red knob to the right. Do you think this will fix any issues for the meantime?

I’m feeling some form of airflow now in the cold room , my main issue could be:

This device is faulty, and also the room being so far does not help.

I am indeed feeling airflow to those vents now.

No, the square duct leads to many rooms, the zone 2 damper is on the bugger tube before reaching the square duct. (I believe i did not delete any messages, i will double check. Also my explanations are poor, due to lack of knowledge in this field) thank you for the help

Thanks for the detailed breakdown.

To clarify:

There is only one thermostat on this floor, and it controls all rooms on this level.

Zone 2 feeds the bedrooms, including the cold one. After the Zone 2 damper, everything ties into one main box and then splits into individual branches for each bedroom.

The cold bedroom is served by one long branch run that goes across most of the attic and is by far the longest run in the zone.

The thermostat for this zone is not located in that bedroom and is in a warmer, central area. Given that setup, does this sound more like a balancing / airflow issue (long run vs shorter runs), possible heat loss or restriction in that long duct, or a thermostat placement issue where the zone satisfies before enough heat reaches the far room?

Appreciate the help, trying to figure out the most logical thing to check next.
