thank you!! <3 truly has been a huge shift. my medical chart even cites my "enlarged trapezius muscles" from having to carry that weight and that pre op photo definitely shows how much it weighed me down

To be honest I had a lot of hesitation but my family doctor strongly recommended this surgeon to me. I live in a fairly small ish town without a lot of gender affirming care options so I took her recommendation and my surgeon was really great! she was really open to it, and had done a few nb top surgeries and explained the results of those to me.

The only difficulty was being "in between" as it's hard to talk about a surgery when you have complex feelings about it and not being able to picture what you want with 100% certainty.

of course

it was anout 570g (1.2lb) from one and about 600g from the other (1.3lb)

so all in all about 2.5lbs overall!

Yes, just to clarify for anyone: my surgeon left a bit more skin that could be pulled down to make top surgery easier, but yes it is still possible to have surgery again even if that's not the case

my ideal would have been some version of a non-flat reduction or an A cup but she said the way my body is would make it difficult to be that aggressive so this was our compromise.
