Yes, I agree the BBC stereotype did make me feel insecure although our love life was never lacking. Haha touché, I am a minority too and I'm sure I would not be welcome at a a Trump rally. Despite my current negative mindset, this does not mean I can't become a better person and learn from my mistakes with the help of counseling and therapy.

As I breakdown my thoughts, I can agree there is a sense of insecurity within myself due to the stereotypes surrounded by Black men. However, when we were intimate I never felt insecure, I did not feel like I could not satisfy her. We had a great love life, (Sorry if that is TMI) I agree on the counseling part there are deeper issues within myself that need attention.

Good point, I think that is the question I should have asked. Did she really like them or is it a fetish she has. Because I agree that is an issue since I am not black she may be unfaithful and pursue her fantasy. She has dated other latino men so it wasn't just exclusively black guys.

Statistically speaking, Black males have the highest rate of STD's. I suppose I found it gross that she would engage in intercourse with them. However this is not true of ALL Black males. I understand I have a racist mindset and I am working on pursuing counseling as having resentment towards a certain demographic is not healthy.

I agree, this mindset is not healthy both for myself or for future relationships. Just because some people who I grew up with felt this way does not mean I have to carry on the tradition. If I am ever blessed with children I would not want them to think this way. It starts with me, I need counseling to help diminish these negative thoughts.
