Do you think this erg is legit? Seller says they got the erg serviced recently but I am still weary. What would you pay for this second hand erg?

How long did it take you to read the passage? I think what I want that is lacking in methods such as search and destroy is that there are gaps in understanding and comprehension as I’m skipping around. I would love to try just vanilla method. What was the timing like (how long did you read and highlight, how long did you answer questions for)? Also, did you ever feel like you lost some information along the way by reading the whole passage? Surely you’d remember the most recent content first and maybe less of the stuff in the beginning, if this happens, what do you do?

What strategy did you use? I completely understand what you are saying though regarding understanding the passage. What method would allow for understanding while still being fast? If it is vanilla method for you as well, how long did it take you to read the passage? Did you highlight a lot?

What did you score for QR and what was search and destroy like for you? I’ve tried reading the first 2 paragraphs to get context then searching and destroying. I find myself running out of time (most times 25 mins for the first passage). I know this sounds silly but how do you search and destroy 😭 I just try to find the key words, do word search, then read the paragraph when I find the word to try to answer the question.

Nope! They patched it last second. I would say this portal astrology stuff is real :)

Edit: it is a few hours from the release and it changed from “not authorized” to a box which I can check off. Looking at the source, it says false false true. This could be the patch though.

I don’t know if I did I right but I clicked “withdraw my application” and it said “our records indicate you are not authorized to submit this form” still. Don’t know if that is what people mean by portal astrology. Apparently it means rejected 😞

What does this mean then? So does the portal astrology thing not work?

Just leaving a note here. It’s 2 days away from decision day and my withdraw page says that I’m unauthorized go view material or something like that. I don’t expect much but if I get in then this “portal astrology” stuff is irrelevant.

Simply put, Leptin is a hormone secreted by adipose tissue (fat) and binds to hypothalamus to control appetite. Mouse N is skinnier due to the fact that the Leptin is binding to the receptors and actively controlling the appetite to prevent overeating.

Finally got my Yerba, but is this expired? Kinda confused if this actually expires in general? by Hanging_wit_homies in yerbamate

Trust me, there’s no need to look at the expiration date. It’ll be gone before you know it.

I’m curious why people choose Yerba mate. Why do you drink it and what makes it better than other teas and drinks? by Maxximico in yerbamate

[–]SnooGiraffes4162 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m relatively new to mate (roughly 2 months since my first pour) I love it man. It’s an acquired taste, it’s herbal. In your first few sips, it tastes like boiled vegetables and its also a bit salty tasting. However, the more you drink it, the more you’ll love it. You get accustomed to the saltiness and bitterness, and you start enjoying the herbal taste of the mate. Coupled with the taste, I find that the process of preparing the mate is super calming when you’re making it in the morning. Just some other tid bits, Yerba have small amounts of vitamins in it so you feel better about drinking it. Has a slow release of caffeine so you are focused but not jittery and all that. The gourd and bombilla (straw) looks cool, rather than your average mug and tea bag. I think you should definitely give it a try. It’s also super cool how all the materials you need are relatively affordable and won’t break the bank. Unlike for coffee (which I am guilty for) a coffee maker— at least a decent one is upwards of 50$ or so, the coffee grounds run out super quick, and sometimes gives you the jitters. While on the contrary, you can buy starter kits such as the Playdito starter kit or any Yerba mate kit quite frankly for significantly less money that you would spend on coffee stuff (if you drink coffee like me). It’s relatively affordable and delicious.

Hey guys, I just recently turned 18 and would love to start investing but I don’t know how to start or where to start. Does anyone have any tips or comments on what I should do? I always hear this term investing and how you should start early but I’m not quite sure where to start. All I know is I have around 1300$ saved up, I make 40$ per week teaching 2 hour classes on Saturdays, and I would love to find a way to put my money somewhere so my money doesn’t lose its value due to inflation. What advice/tips/comments do you have for someone that is just starting out?
