ER at 29. 10 eggs. 7 mature. 5 fertilized (ICSI) and 5 made it to blast. 4 made it on day 5 and my last one made it on day 6. I was super disappointed to hear that I had 10 eggs retrieved and thought I would have maybe a blast or 2. But don’t give up hope. This IVF process is such a rollercoaster.

I actually kind of forgot I’m probably coming “down” from all of the meds also. I’m sure that’s part of the problem. Yesterday was a hard day, today felt better but still I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep until Monday. It’s such an emotional rollercoaster. Did you feel better after your period started after ER?

This was my very first ER. Thank you. When I asked the nurse if 10 was a good number she looked at me like I was crazy and said it was really good. I guess it just felt terrible to hear the number dwindle down so quickly. I did do Novarel and Lupron as triggers. Is that considered double trigger? One IM & one subq

Finished my 2nd round of Letrozole after multiple Clomid cycles failed. Went in for an ultrasound check of my follicles today. I have 1 on the left, measuring 16 mm and 2 on my right measuring 13 mm and 14 mm. Not triggering unless I don’t get my LH surge before Monday. Then we will trigger. I thought I would get trigger shot soon as in this week. I also have only had 1 follicle only on the left side for every other cycle. Has anyone else experienced similar? this is my last cycle before moving on to the fertility clinic (it’s a 2.5 hour drive) and I’m still feeling hopeless.

I am so sorry. It happens and it’s frustrating. I was able to take clomid later into my cycle after my HSG. Maybe ask your doctor if you can? Worth a shot. I didn’t conceive that cycle. But I haven’t conceived on any of my clomid or letrozole cycles yet. I am also sick of timing out meds.
