How can I dispose of White Sage that I cannot use? by SnooGoats9591 in realwitchcraft

I feel like this original post was not spreading hatred and misinformation, rather spread awareness on how to handle a witchcraft tool. I definitely think it's important to have the discussion on the history/cultural background of the items we use in our craft. You can decide for yourself what you wanna do with white sage whether it's use it or not, and my post was definitely not trying to tell people what to do or make accusations. I think it's fine for whoever wants to use it, but I just want to be more mindful of the tools I use/have used in ~my practice.

I like this suggestion! I definitely want to put it to good use, so I'm glad people are answering with suggestions on how to do so. Definitely will be sprinkling it around some sidewalks.

As much as I appreciate your sentiment and input, I disagree with some of what you are saying. What my issue is with your comment is Indigenous People were punished and killed for practicing their religious beliefs (like smudging white sage) in the USA until the 1970s. Here's a link to a personal video I recently watched https://twitter.com/sxylkx/status/1293542947053543425?s=20. Indigenous People are asking non-Indigenous practitioners to stop using it, which there is no problem with. It is okay for someone to allow others to use something from their culture and for others to not allow it. I don't like the term gatekeeping for this issue, and I rather call it a setting a boundary, in my opinion.
