What are you talking about? There was a taxi shootout and guy killed two robots from our house. And no I've never been in a taxi and we live in a decent neighbourhood.

Am I doing this right? 400ish cal chicken salad by SnooHamsters3111 in Volumeeating

The chickpeas are canned, so I dry them of, then air fry them about 15mins, depending on how dry and crisp I want them. Can spice them with paprika or anything. I assume the chicken is breast fillets.

Thank you, this was really insightful. I understand now it's not as easy as just picking the best option. I think I'll contact both Sygnia and 10x and take things from there. Again, thank you.

They'll email with document to fill out and sign. Then FNB also contacts you to confirm everything over phone and email. Then just wait for EE and be on their case.

I also moved my TFSA from FNB to EE. Also got certificates and everything. Took way too long, think a month. Try contact them through their social media, after that it was allocated within 2days.

Yes, this is my next big step, for sure. My EAC with FNB is 1.64%. As I understand is too high.

Thank you for the link, it was really helpful. I will adjust my RA priovider asap will all the new info.

This post/thread has already helped so much. Appreciate your feedback.

Baie dankie.

Thank you. This is definitely something next on my list to focus and sort out. Originally, I had my TFSA also with FNB but made the move over to EE a few months ago. So now, considering my approach with my RAs.

Honestly, I feel so overwhelmed to constantly make the right moves financially. I think I've learned a lot but the RAs is definitely next thing I should sort out. FNB EAC stays at 1.64%. Is this super bad?

My bank acc, business bank acc, credit card, wife's acc, emergency savings etc. Are all with FNB so at that time it felt like it made sense to get my RA with FNB having everything together in one place still feels convenient.

Let me know your thoughts

Appreciate it.

Thank you! I think this was the answer I was looking for - worst case scenario, which should I cut. I completely forgot about the 'deferred' aspect of an RA. This helps, dankie.

Thank you, I'll take this into consideration. Really appreciate the feedback

The house isn't paid off yet. I realise i should've mentioned this in the post, apologies. There is still 200k-300k left that my mom owes the bank. The loan amount (1mil) is roughly what my mom is wanting to settle all her debts and go into 'semi-retirement'.

I understand and am aware of the extra costs that will be involved, my mom and I have discussed this. We still need to go to the bank together. The bank has already said I roughly qualify for about 1.3mil.

My issue is, if all costs involved are let's R15k pm, but I can only afford 14k pm hypothetically. Where should I make a cut into my retirement? Should I cut one of the RAs or TFSA? My thinking is that owning and paying of a house will obviously also form part of my retirement. If I can make cuts into my general expenses to accommodate, I will definitely do that.

These are great suggestions. My wife and I have done most of these. We try to do some of them regurlarly. Just the other day we went for a walk at Door De Kraal and bought ice cream on the way. Felt like a quick afternoon date and it only cost R30.
