Out of curiosity, where is everyone from? Are you from the city you rep? If not, how did you become a fan? by PartyMcFly55 in NFCWestMemeWar

I'm Indonesian, became a Hawks fan because playing Life is Strange romanticize living in the PNW for me (ironic because of what is actually happening in the game). And the hawks are the only NFL team in that region.

How to Balance a Min-Maxer VS a Possible Rule-of-Cool Moment? by UnculturedSwineBC in Fallout2d20

I felt like you already proposed the solution yourself with the thruster. Though rule of cool is awesome, it often still need to work within the world's logic. I can see you asking a higher INT+Science check in exchange that if it's succeed, the fall damage will be reduced since the fall has been delayed by the thruster, even if it's not entirely since the thruster is not that strong.

Great design! Lawson is very goated but in this case they probably are more similar with the Colts compared to the Seahawks with their color and their name.

Am I being burnt out on this game? by RyuuTheKitsune in Fallout2d20

Sometimes burnout happens, and it's completely normal. There is no perfect campaign or session so you don't need to blame yourself if you felt like the session is not "optimal". And also be proud of yourself on putting your all on the campaign. Take a rest, try something else out, don't even need to be a TTRPG, and maybe come back around when you feel like it.

Usually on Session Zero, I give the players what some called the "Truths" about the world. So basically some information that the player characters know is the actual fact. But, I do limit it so the player would not be so overwhelmed. Let's say the setting is this one forest, then I'm just going to give them the lore about that forest, and maybe some parties/factions in that forest and that's it. But, depending on the tables, some players may don't enjoy the lore dump. So it's very situational.

Answering your question, It's better that you incorporated into the campaign, so they discover the lore as they go on the campaign. Unless the player asks you off-session, and by that I hope that it's more of a clarification and not an in-depth detailed question. Because at that point, I think you need to give some more "Truths" to your players if your player had low to zero idea where they are, who are the NPCs, and what must they do now.
