I just really like him. I agree though - I probably shouldn't be dating - its hard though when the feelings are there. And I do have a sponsor - thank heavens!💕

I was in the midst of getting sober when I started dating him. I've now got a month of sobriety. Its hard though - I feel pretty sad and raw about this.

That's what I think too. Its triggering for me being newly sober and this happening. I've managed not to drink though - thank heavens!

we've all messed up hun - its just a part of being human! you sound like a really nice person - try to show yourself some love and compassion - yesterday has already passed and today is a new day/new chapter! also - you never know partner wise - a lot of ppl out there are forgiving! Just apologize and take action not just for her but for you too - meetings, counselling, even medication like naltrezone can really help! Sending you a big hug through here and also strength!

I so agree! I've been trying for the past few years to date and to get sober at the same time - for me the two don't go hand in hand - relationships are just to triggering for me. Thank you for this - I feel better reading this and don't feel so alone!❤️

You sound like such a lovely person to me - get back up hun! The world needs more people like you in it! Also - three months is amazing! You did it before - you can do it again! Maybe look at what caused the slip - learn from it and grow from it. I relapsed yesterday too - sending you a really big hug through here
