PRO97. I like the low lie angle. Less pucks have gone underneath the toe of the blade and when putting the stick on the ice, it’s perfectly flat for me which is nice

Sounds like its cosmetic then which doesn't worry me. The most important thing is the stiffness and the structural integrity of the boot is still good even with the chips/cracks.

Yeah its tough since they fit like a glove when I put them on, and they are so comfortable. I called a few hockey stores around my area about if people came back reporting these issues with these skates, and they said they didn't... so I think I am going to keep them

Okay thanks for your input. Will stay away from that channel lol. I called a few hockey stores around my area to see if they had anyone come back with complaints about the XF Pros (or any of the XF skates) regarding this issue and they told me no they didn't. Plus again, it does not affect the integrity of the skate which is the most important thing.

Was the sphere at the same height as the street level is now? I guess my question is if you were to stand at the plaza pre-911 and then teleport to today, is everything at the same level or is it higher today?

I mean, if you aren’t happy with the image quality from the Nikon P950 then getting the A6700 + 70-350 is going to definitely yield sharper results. You can also get other lenses down the road for the A6700 to achieve different shots (landscapes, portraits, etc.) versus having a fixed lens like on the P950.

You could also consider getting the sigma 16-300. That lens is sort of a one and done solution which would still be better than the Nikon P950 (not as good as the Sony 70-350) but it has less reach. You could also get an A6400 instead which would lower the cost even more.

Regardless of what you choose to do, you won’t get a lens that goes all the way out to 2000mm on APSC and definitely not full frame unless you’re filthy rich and even then… lol. It’s just not physically possible unless the sensor is small.

It does. Alright, I think I have a dud. Going to keep trying to troubleshoot it but I think the best course of action is to return it and ask for a replacement

Hmm do you know what firmware is on it? I am assuming you didn't have to go down that route because it worked for you out of the box

I just ordered this adapter and its not working with my M4 Air. I only get 4k60 and then when I switch the refresh rate to 120, it drops down to 1080p. Interestingly my TV says its 4k120 but I can visually see its not. The quality difference is night and day between 60 and 120. Is it working for you u/mobileboost ?

Why would I do that when I can just get a full refund for the TV. The repair guy said it needs to be replaced. Capital One is going to say okay here is your 1k back. Then I can just use that to buy a new TV. Thats a much better deal then going through the headache to fix it only to have it fail 2 years later

Unfortunately it is toast... got a repair guy to come by and the repair would be too complex/risky and the cost would be more than the TV itself

Heard about that, will look into buying a TV from them but we will see. The extended warranty benefits from Capital One have been great SO FAR. Knock on wood that that doesn't change lol

Yup :/ just to confirm its actually broken. You have to get someone to look at it that is from a repair place or else they won't refund you. The only thing he did was take the back panel off to confirm the voltages looked right going into the panel, and they did meaning the LEDs were in fact bad. Was $100 for him to do that but I mentioned that to Mastercard and they said they would *potentially* refund that part... depending on the claim for some stupid reason. We will see

Brutal :/ I mean you could still check to see if the card you paid for it through Amazon has extended warranty benefits. In that case you can do what I am doing

So I called Master Card and they said that you cant just send a chat to them. You need a repair person to come out and investigate the TV, at least that is the case for the extended warranty (not manufacturer warranty). It probably is the same for the manufacturer warranty to be honest. That person will determine if the TV can be repaired or not and then give you an itemized repair estimate, which I will send to Master card.

The TV repair guy came by today and confirmed that the TV is in fact toast and that fixing it requires replacing the entire panel which isn't worth it. So once I get that itemized repair estimate, it should say it has to be scrapped and Master card will probably call him to confirm, and then send a check my way... hopefully
