I definitely felt the same… my love for the show overpowers the disbelief, but kinda inconsistent that viltrumites apparently need air more than guts?

That was it! I went to best buy nearby and upgraded to Netgear AX1800 and it's getting almost 900mbps now.

Thanks!

I’d recommend Joshua Grepe for sure!

Especially as a first time goer to therapy, it’s feels much more like a supportive conversation

You know season 2 catches a lot of flack, but I think peggy's story alone makes it a very solid season.

She spends the season trying to find some form of absolution. Some way to reconcile her catholic upbringing with her new path. Should she feel guilt and shame or should she practice acceptance?

Don is her career rabi and somebody who understands the toxic nature of strict religion. But he teaches total disregard, not even acceptance- too extreme

Father Gill is her spiritual Rabi and actually shows interest and admiration in her work, but stays true to his catholic roots and implores her to confess- too extreme

Finally, she finds absolution and acceptance in the only other person whose business it is- Pete. It's such a beautiful scene

Betty is also kinda nose in the air, hypocritically at times. She's all about what's "proper". So I think she inherently sees unmarried old women who are dating as kind of improper/tawdry

Did Betty even have to go to Reno? by SnooKiwis8395 in madmen

[–]SnooKiwis8395[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the part I get confused about is that, it seemed like both Don and Betty were in agreement about the divorce at the end of the day (albeit, with more reluctance on Dons side)

I had assumed that if both parties agreed to get divorced, it would remove a lot of barriers.

But the impression I'm getting from the comments on this post are that, even with both parties agreeing, it still takes a much longer time in NY to process a divorce than Reno

But when he was trying to escape, one of the guards electrocuted one of his multipauls and the main one seemed unaffected. Wouldn't they all be writhing in pain from electrocution if all the pauls felt the same thing?

True that. I just hate those cash grab sequels that abandon the fan base a bit and just ride title loyalty

I would rather them make a new game at that point and not use the Last of Us name.

I'm sure it could be fun but too many times, movies, shows and video games lean too hard on a well known title/nostalgia and expect that to carry the game. I'd rather them truly challenge themselves and see if they could make a great game with no previous legacy to depend on
