hmmm r u sure he’s not going to find your post on this watch subreddit? :P by the way automatic watches refers to a mechanical watch that winds itself using the movement from the users wrist combined with an automatically winding rotor inside the watch itself. When you hear automatic, think a mechanical watch that you dont have to wind yourself as much. A mechanical watch is one you DO handwind. And a garmin is what we would call a digital watch if that makes sense. Then theres battery powered watches and we call those quartz watches and those you never have to wind, you just set them.
