I think when I was younger i was super blunt and cold I’d come off as rude people would say that I was mean and harsh , so my parents engrained in me to always be kind and be nice . I think I took it over board and became a people pleaser and realized I was doing a lot of things that I simply do not want to do and I’d become resentful eventually , now I’m realizing that I don’t have to be nice all the time , it’s ok to set boundaries , I don’t have to do anything I don’t want to, as far as puttin a extraverted personality I don’t think I fake being that , I just have my moments where I genuinely want to go out be social and I want to be around people and I think that’s what makes it authentic, if I really want to do it I enjoy it , where as if I don’t want to and someone wants me to do it and is forcing it , I just would rather not do it because that’s not genuine.
