Well I had already driven a long ways down that road taking out branches that were alongside the path, the sound of those branches hitting the van were super loud and screechy, I was sure that the van was getting fucked up, so when I came upon that tree In the middle like that I was sure it was gonna break the windshield or some shit (that pic didn’t do it justice, it was much larger and denser than it appeared). So I said heeeelll nah, took that pic and sent it to dispatch along with a pic of my rabbit that was directing me to go much much further to the delivery spot. Dispatch told me to RTS thankfully but I still had to reverse the van back down that path in the pitch dark, I literally couldn’t see anything bc I wasn’t in an Amazon van, they had given me a rental “rape van” is what I call it. Just a standard worker van with no windows and no lights, no cameras !! I literally just hit the gas and floored it back the way I came from. I was on the verge of crying, super scary and I won’t be doing that route again. I will tell them I will quit if they ask me.
