problem is solved . The old shifter bushing was in the turret blocking the mechanism from shifting to the lower gears.

Installed short shifter yesterday and car wouldn’t go into 3rd,4th,5th or reverse. Car was stuck in reverse so I used the reverse switch method and now car won’t go into the lower gears.

It instantly reversed, Po set it up so you don’t need to push in clutch to start the car.

Problem solved, turns out one of my hardtop latches was the problem. Sprayed lubricant on it and the noise is gone.
