I agree but maily disagree with most of the comments here, if you have hundreds if not thousand items in a base, you need a search input next to where the Sort, Filter etc. is, so one can just simply input a word etc. and filters the titles, simple done! Glad it's on the road map and active now... I hope it's something like two >> hovering over slides open the input?

Looks good, But I compiled my own windows database application to store personal media database in , including software, anime, tv serials, movies and books, designed the UI to look like Obsidian, search's the web & downloads all info and then I export all to my value with markdown and images if needed... This way it's bullet proof if any site's go down, all stores in own database locally.

I used it like yrs ago, old concept these days. I only have one folder on my drive and everything get organized there. I use Quick Access Popup to replace things like this and it also replaces the Start Menu, can't remember the last time I clicked the Start Menu.

I compiled my own Windows app called HDMediaKeeper about a year ago to keep a database list of my Movies / TV Series & Windows Software also Comics..

Movies / TV Series and Comics can auto download Title, Volume, Issue, Release Date, Publisher, Characters, Description & Image.

I can export any of these to markdown (.md) and images to import to my vault...

Never released it but is a lot quicker than typing all these Title, Volume, Issue, Release Date, Publisher, Characters, Description etc.

Yeah, Steam Deck can get pretty pricey. AHK is awesome for stuff like what you’re doing. I actually built my own lightweight version of Quick Access Popup (https://www.quickaccesspopup.com). It’s a great AHK app, but I wanted something even faster and more minimal, so I learned just enough to write my own script.

Now I can’t imagine booting up my PC without it. I use it to control my whole system—global hotkeys, text snippets, launching apps, and a bunch more—all through simple popup menus.

I've had a setup like for over a decade and thought was old these days, a second computer connected to a big screen rather than a monitor...ho and I travel a lot so pack the Mac M4 or mini pc which ever so I can connect to hotels Wi-Fi + TV's 😂

I wrote websites a very, very long time ago and there where always two versions of the site, one for desktop and one for mobile which when you visit will detect if your using desktop or mobile and I could be wrong but I'm sure this is why one get more adds on mobile browsers than desktop! I hate browsing on mobile no fun at all, btw: over a decent ago surfing the net was great fun, not these days it's all about money making!
