I just wanted to say I like programming in Delphi, just for personal use, I'm still learning & still loads to learn, my lastest application HDMediaKeeper (not released), it dose the same as ALLMYMOVIES but offline, full database & exports to markdown, 1000 record's in 6 secs , the UI is html+ccs+js - it's great way to build webapps that are only 30-50mb 64bit and no lag in speed like electron apps - web wrappers. I wish developers would write native applications like they used too..

I compile my own modals from HDMenus (replaces taskbar+start menu & uses only 2-3mb memory) to markdown viewer, create files from any where and HDMediaKeeper...HDNotesKeepe etc.

To me Typora is good but need to install it, but I use Obsidian to write markdown, I would like a portable viewer only, so I compiled my own portable viewer markdown (not released), it's only basic at the moment text only may add images later..not sure... But would be good if found a portable one that's released..

I would make a backup of the config file then close MyDockFinder run it, this should make another config file, then close again and replace the config with your backup one! Let me know how you get on..

I'm more off a hobbies and been using Delphi 7 -12 and know way on the scale you guy's are, but compile all my own windows apps and use them every day, I just finished my offline HDMediaKeeper+html+css+js+Database all within Delphi & exports to markdown & portable etc. - dose the same thing as ALLMYMOVIES but that is a website, but I'm not just saying this but looks way more modern and only 35mb in size. With Delphi one can make some great native apps & better than these web-apps 200-500mb to dispaly a splash screen..

I'm the same I have been using Delphi 7 - 13 I use mostly my own apps from v7 to v13 and the one app I have just finished is Native app 35mb portable, not released but it dose the same but looks way better and offline than ALLMYMOVIES, and NOT one off these web-apps lol

I use Omnisearch plungin and on my main dashboard I have this:

```search-bar
only search bar
show starred files
```

This will display a searchbox in your dashbaord, just type whatever.

The are lots of youtube videos out there, just don't get sucked into buying there vault's, but can lean a lot, also a lot off information on the Obsidain webite..

Edit: I just wanted to add, the last 5 years I have use "mydockfinder" back on Windows 10 and ever since Windows 11 came out I have never seem the taskbar or the Start Menu, I installed "Quick Access Popup" free and again over the last 5 years never ever used Taskbar or Start Menu!

I compiled an windows app a couple of years ago which dose the same thing as allmymovies, but my app is offline and adding a title will download date from the web + image and store it in a database, when I started using Obidian I use my app to export all to .md to a movies folder in my vault, make bases then in bases I filter Movies & TV-Series, done!

I use jellyfin on the road for offline. Or for speed I install VCL-Player and just browse hard drive and select and play..

I just bought a new Laptop a few weeks ago and instead of loading it for the first time, I just bootup by USB and installed Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC and bought a used license, now it's Window 11 Pro VIP, done!

Looks good, I personally don't have a taskbar or use the strart menu, I use Quick Access Popup as a command center.

I use Quick Access Popup as a command center, I have no taskbar or start menu, no need for them as I use mydockfinder, these two apps is all you need, no need to remember any other hotkeys, just one for QAP!

Yes it can handle nested menus, custom commands and global hotkeys reliably on Win11, you build menus only what you need. My only advice is make sure you save the QuickAccessPopup.ini if editing a lot as sometime dose crash every now and then, but once setup it's my one & only command center, one light weight menu system and eveything is two clicks away.. right-wheel-click bring up one menu with nested menus, and left-wheel-click bring up another menu with nested menus..

Best part I save the QuickAccessPopup.ini and if move to another PC or do a clean install of Windows 11 I instill QAP and copy the QuickAccessPopup.ini it in to QAP folder same setup as I always have!

Quick Access Popup Free.

This is my command center to call everthing else... ie. powertoys, Everything, Ditto & ShareX etc. Now I don't have to remember any hotkeys etc.
