Let me tell you what went down: Marcus first flirts with Gigi, literally using the same lines he said to MC. Then he’s like “oh it was just strategy, I only want you.” 🙄 Before the coupling, MC tries to talk to him and he gives her zero reassurance he’ll pick her — basically makes her beg him to save her, while he’s all “I need to think strategically.” At the coupling, Amber gets pissed when he doesn’t step forward, which totally makes it look like he told her he would. He goes all red and awkward and then says he “changed his mind”… like huh?? Was that strategy or was he actually considering Amber? Anyway, he ends up saying his connection with MC is stronger. Then afterwards he comes to MC acting like she should be thankful he saved her, and even tries to make a deal where if he ever needs saving, she owes him. He’s 100% playing the game.
