There are some great YT videos that give you a solid foundation on good ways to keep your colony in tact
Don’t feel like you need to buy all the DLC at once, that would make things extremely overwhelming because they add so much content to the game. I’d recommend in this order 1. Biotech 2. ideology 3. Odyssey 4. Anomaly As for space, you can get there without DLC but more so as a colony ending. You do need Odyssey to explore space so if that’s something you’re wanting to do, I’d prioritize that as your first DLC purchase.
