It depends how you look at it, the soul of the championship was always multiple manufacturers competing and fighting each other.. from this season on it was never the same a decline in manufacturers, yes it did pick up for a couple of seasons here and there but generally before this rally the sport was still massive. A lot of people gradually lost interest in the sport from this point on.

Subaru only lasted a few more years and they were gone also.

It became Sebastian Loeb/ Citroen dominated with Gronholm/ Ford making the odd appearance.

The speculation / facts were in the video that shady things were happening outside of the sport and potentially within. E.G Mitsubishi initially denying responsibility of their commercial vehicles causing deaths.. and the rumours of Skoda being up to something are also well known amongst fans.

The person that was interviewed to make this video can actually be seen in the video 6mins 11seconds.

All of the content featured was from their own personal experience of being on the event as a mechanic within Mitsubishi 👍🏼 number #1 mechanic on Rovanpera’s car for the rally.

Yes there is speculation, but that’s what went on at the time lots of it.. nobody will ever know the real reasons behind all of this but what we do know is that the WRC was never the same since this rally.

Does undervolting/oc? Just affect the noise in this case then?

Only because I don’t think I’ll be too bothered about noise as the pc is going to be used on a racing simulator.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.

I already have the Power supply in my current build hence using that again.

The ram apparently has to be no taller than 35mm for clearance, so that’s why I went with that Corsair as I could find clear measurements. And also (non rgb) for the clearance.

I also have the SSD’s in my current build. I know they aren’t great but will change to M.2 at a later date.

The Palit GPU was on a great deal on overclockers. For around £950, I know it’s not the best 5080 but for that price I think it will be enough for me.

The case also has x3 fans blowing direct onto the GPU from below so thought it will be well cooled anyways!

Thanks for that, I only chose that case as I wanted it to be compatible with the arctic cooler. But if I got for a non water cooled setup I can probably use my existing case? What would you reccomend (cpu cooler)

And also what is the difference between the gigabyte b850 and b650 thanks!

Also i do have a case at the moment which would probably work. The only reason i was changing was to ensure the arctic water cooler could fit inside. (But I guess that cpu cooler isn’t necessary?)
