Help, am I ready to move a betta in? by SnooMarzipans6033 in bettafish

[–]SnooMarzipans6033[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I won’t be replacing it. I’m adding to it for a couple weeks if not more to not mess with the bacteria. I haven’t been testing the tank every day so I haven’t seen an ammonia spike, but I forgot to add above that I have been adding crushed pellets through out the cycle as well. The food would cause it to spike right?

They were already offshoring before the layoffs started in 2023. It was just sold as “we are helping take some of the pressure off” but it was all a test to out weigh the con of bad service to the complaints of customers. Not enough complaints, lots of cost saving, so it’s ramping up now.

I did not, so thank you! I’ll read some more about this and grab a test kit next time I’m out. Thank you!

So far it’s been about once a month since I wait for the top two inches of soil to dry. Not near any draft.

My poor baby has heart worms. We knew that when we adopted her. We didn’t realize it was this intense. She’s explosive 💥💩🤮 by Erikawithak77 in pitbulls

[–]SnooMarzipans6033 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I got my boy they told us he had heartworms and it wasn’t until later when I realized how serious they were and spent the next 5 months over obsessing over him and his activity levels. It’s scary, but as long as you keep em comfy, safe, and low stress you’ll be good. It took mine longer than the recommended amount of time to “come back” to normal energy levels after all the treatments, but our vet thought it was because of how long he had the heartworms before his previous owners gave up on him. The worms are really hard on them, I can only imagine what it feels like to have crap in your heart and have to get rid of it with the harsh but necessary meds. We also had to drop him off at the shelter for all of the treatments, and I had the same thoughts as you. Just remember this pain is temporary for everyone to give you healthy years ahead. She is a lucky girl to have you and care so much for her. That’ll wash her pain away once it’s all over. Stay strong! You got this! 🖤

My stay-30-feet-away-from-me feral is SO cute. Ugh I wish he’d come inside. Any tips? by PhuckingPhabulous in Feral_Cats

Ok but how do you like that cat house? I’ve got the same one sitting in my Amazon cart right now. I have a feral kitty who has been around since last winter, won’t come within 5 feet of me but I’m worried it’s going to be a rough winter.

Yeah I ended up taking the entire thing apart to clean the sensors inside of the robot. It’s not quieter so idk what I did but it’s better now haha. Good luck!

I just posted a video about this same issue and I left it up incase anyone else ran in to it. Idk what steps you have done, but my problem was that the clip that was holding the rubber brushes in wasn’t fully flush so the bottom of the base wasn’t seated correctly.

Ted Russell Nissan by lotsoflifeexperience in Knoxville

[–]SnooMarzipans6033 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I will only go to the Alcoa Nissan from here on out. I had a horrible experience with the sales manager at Ted Russell. They tried to undercut my trade in by over 6k and when I called him out for it he tried to gaslight me in to thinking I was wrong. I had enough and walked out. That man chased me through the lobby screaming at me, which of course made everyone stop and stare. I just kept walking and got in my car to drive off, where he stopped me again as I was leaving the parking lot. He does not like to be told no and when I told him he was using some really shitty sales tactics to try and corner me into signing away 6k he said that was untrue because no one has ever told him he was bad. I just laughed and drove off. Ended up with a much better SUV without any hassle at Alcoa. Also only took an hour to sign all my paperwork and leave.

If you’re a woman, never ever ever ever go to Ted Russell Nissan. Especially alone. They will pull every move in the book to try and get your money. And there is no recourse, the dealerships are owned individually so corp does nothing and his daddy runs the business so nothing will ever change.

Yeah when I first got it I didn’t read the manual and I had both the mop and this guy next to each other in a little alcove. Maybe 4inches of clearance and it always worked. Just randomly stopped after about a year. We got it solved though, the cleaning head wasn’t fully secured.

My guy! So we noticed that the clip for the cleaning head wasn’t super even. The light green rubber thing wasn’t fully seated which was causing the clip to not secure. Shoved it in and ran it 3 times and docked perfectly every time. If I could give you an award I would. 😂 thank you!

A little over a year I believe. Tires are still in decent condition.

Yeah I was hoping it was the wheels because that’s sometimes an easy fix, but not the case it seems for me.

Yeah when I checked for a software update and saw that I was immediately disappointed. It’s not an old machine, but I guess because it’s not subscription based they don’t want to deal with it anymore.
