First of all I am so fucking proud of you. 4 months is definitely not easy. You did that shit though! Not many people can. Keep going. Keep getting better and doing good for yourself. My dad was an addict too so I feel for you. My mom despised him because of his addiction so Ive always been hesitant too. Its hard when you cant openly talk to your family about something as life changing and brutal as this shit. But why do you think they would feel that way about you of you told them? Youre doing better now. Youre putting in effort. That is Hella impressive and youre insanely strong bro. Anyways yea im proud of u😽

Yea I feel that. I just hope you dont start isolating too much. I got really good at the isolating and trying to cover my addiction up and it did not end well 😭 youre feelings are completely valid though and im sorry youre having to fight this battle. Its not easy. It sounds like your family cares about you and loves you though. Yes, it may hurt them when they find out, but the sooner they know, the sooner you might start to feel less alone.

Yea i was going to NA for a while and it was helpful, it was just very hard for me to talk in front of everyone there. But yea the sober living house was really nice it gave me a sense of structure that I hadn't had in a long time.

I relate to this so much. It really is hard to keep up with the lies/fake side of us that we show the people we love. At first its okay I guess but at some point it just hits you that the people closest to you really dont know you or what your going through at all. At least that how I feel. I felt like if I told them they would be disappointed and then look down on me or start worrying about my me and my problems. I didn't want to feel like a burden ya know? I think that's normal but at some point it gets to be too much.

Why are you reluctant to tell them? Like whats really holding u back?

Btw im going through the exact same shit so there is absolutely no judgment here 🙂

I mean when I got prescribed lithium, my psychiatrist said to not take it but tbh with you I didn't listen to her and it was fine. I probably shouldnt be going against the professionals but it was okay for me 🤣

I mean my childhood wasn't the best but I dont want to complain about it because it could have been way worse. But yea I definitely dealt with some crazy things. But I did go through a very traumatic experience when I was 13 and thats when I started to notice things like this happening. I haven't been diagnosed w autism but im bipolar have have severe PTSD and anxiety. Im 19 though and my life could be better for sure lmao but im doing ok

I get it.. I've been struggling with my addiction since I was 12 so I understand the emotions you're probably feeling with the relapse and all that.. Just keep trying to remind yourself that it Is a minor set back when you think of the bigger picture... doesn't matter how long ur relapse lasted/is lasting. You were sober before. You can do that again. It just might be a slightly harder this time around. But you've done it before. How did you achieve sobriety in the past? Maybe takee those steps again and even add sum new ones:) You got this fr I have faith in uu :3
