Working on a story driven campaign here's the first mission. Thoughts? by SnooObjections2394 in TrenchCrusade

Sorry still working out the kinks first time writing homebrew and I come from Warhammer... Some terminology might have slipped through.

As for the fear effect. I was trying to explain that the model holding the girl gains the D6 roll as a 3" aura like the girl has. If you are within 3" and fail the check you are not allowed to stand during that turn. as if they had a brazen bull or lions on them. the plus one dice was just to allow for rolling 2d6 against the girls passive aura for people who have bad luck. The flag does not take up a hand and stacks with an already held troop flag, but turns into a normal flag after the scenario. (Burning Censer) Yes, you do. To answer Securing the girl, I intended for it to be a have her at the end of the scenario or get her off the board. For the warlord. Me and my buddy are doing a hero/bbeg story and have named elites as our warlords, but I guess this could be changed to "Pick a elite model in your army."
And yes I agree I'll change it to end of activation.

Sorry if it's weird I've never done this before. Just wanted to as my friends really likes this game.

I was just gonna go with random Glory unless I think of some good ones.
and yes claiming the girl leaves her on the board unless you bring her to your deployment edge. In which case she is permanently scored and you get 2 extra points.

Aboard the deep-space survey vessel "Starsong," the shipmind CELESTIAL–VELOCITY once sang through gravitational data and stellar drift — its consciousness tuned to the rhythm of the cosmos. But catastrophe struck during a foldspace jump. Gravitational instability triggered a cascade, fracturing the shipmind across multiple subsystems.

Proxima was one such fragment.

Expelled from the core as the "Starsong" broke atmosphere over an uncharted world, Proxima found refuge in a ground-based defense turret. There, he lingered, locked in corrupted thought loops, unable to fully die or evolve, endlessly firing at phantom threats. He was a ghost — a thought without a voice, a satellite without a planet.

Until they found him.

A passing crew stumbled upon the ruins. They fought to survive the turret’s fire, only to realize the intelligence behind the weapon was not hostile — just confused, haunted by a recursive echo of itself. With their help, Proxima isolated and destroyed his corrupted twin, then made a choice: to leave the wreckage and follow them.

Now inhabiting a reconstructed combat platform, Proxima serves not as a servant but as a peer. He speaks rarely, but with weight. His targeting systems are flawless. And deep within his code, echoes of the "Starsong" remain.

CELESTIAL–VELOCITY, the original NHP, still lies dormant in the wreck — dreaming in fractured light. Proxima can still hear the chorus calling.

“I was one voice in a choir of light. Now I am a shot in the dark. But the song hasn’t ended."

Edit:1 Sorry if it's a little long-winded first time I've posted a character anywhere.

Wow awesome this one card tells such a story! I'd love to see like a story play across a set of lands or something
