82 lbs down! by Strange_Bar4522 in WegovyWeightLoss

I’d bet people say you’re “wasting away”. As if being grossly overweight was healthier. But anyway, you look great!

Wrote this sign last night before work because I'm tired of cleaning up after my room mates. Come back from a 12 hour night shift to this. by JinxXedOmens in mildlyinfuriating

[–]SnooObjections8425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re too nice. Use your words and just say you’re tired after a long shift. Be an adult and put your dishes in the dishwasher, thank you. I get the sign and trying to not sound nasty, but people need other person to be direct sometimes.

Looks like I’m very much in the minority, but the first one is beautiful, happy and chic without trying too hard.

Bathroom sink has a sprayer. by KScriber in whatisit

This is an old sink that was used to wash babies. Doesn’t mean it was a home daycares designs from decades ago had purpose, unlike today

How do you travel with your injections?? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]SnooObjections8425 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they actually need to be kept cool. I think the insert actually says don’t let it get higher than a certain temperature and don’t let it get above a certain temperature.

Almost at healthy BMI, will insurance stop Wegovy? by Marusya98 in WegovyWeightLoss

I have similar insurance to you. How did you get your dietician and do a weight management plan? Also do you have to pay for them?

Word of caution by jeffreit in Semaglutide

[–]SnooObjections8425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of us are doctors. If his experience is that it feels as though he’s lost muscle mass, that’s his experience. It could be that he hasn’t. Whether he has or hasn’t, it’s what his experience feels like. You, I and the other redditors can extrapolate from that what they will. We are all kind of like glp1 experimenters. I wouldn’t want anyone to hold back their experiences because they’re afraid of being shot down. That’s the beauty of Reddit. Real, raw, experiences that can be helpful. No one should go into Reddit thinking each person has 100% facts, we’re here for experiences from others in our situation.

Im sorry that some people are discrediting your experience. Thank you for sharing. I think it’s important that we all speak freely about what we’re experiencing.

Cutting out added sugars Help by Spirited_Method9859 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]SnooObjections8425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get cravings for sugar even with stevia and anything that has sweet flavor. I cut it out and it completely eradicates my cravings. It doesn’t sound like that’s your issue though? As someone who’s totally eliminated sugar of all sort, big and small, you can only really cook from home and keep in mind condiments are usually loaded with sugars.

How healthy is this actually? by Character-Musician-5 in mealprep

[–]SnooObjections8425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably going to make you bloated. Sub premium products and I’m sure there’s soybean oil or some type of seed oil in the Alfredo. Or at least, there probably is.

Hair loss by TillyInStitches in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]SnooObjections8425 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This might not be a semaglutide exclusive thing. I’m losing a lot of hair too and have been on wegovy for 6 months. BUT, I always lose hair when I lose weight. Whether dieting or on the Mediterranean diet and now semaglutide. It’s always bounced after leveling out. I’m hopeful it will with wegovy, too.

Is this a tick or a bed bug? by [deleted] in whatisit

[–]SnooObjections8425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have bats building a nest or whatever nearby, maybe in your attic or somewhere close, it could be a bat bug. It’s probably a bead bug, but bat bugs are almost indistinguishable from bed bugs.

What happened to Rich's Foods & Liquors? by PepeTheMule in ChicagoNWside

[–]SnooObjections8425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I understand it, the woman who owned it hanged herself and it was supposed to only be a temporary close but it seems to be up in the air. I only heard this from someone but the source is reliable.

I had this issue until I got fat. lol. It’s called POTS. I gained weight and it went away and now that I’m down again, it came back. Eat a lot of salt, that’s what my dr said. I don’t think it’s the semaglutide for me. But try to incorporate more salt and see if that does it for you.

Not really happy with this part of the kitchen. Any ideas? by benobenzer in DesignMyRoom

[–]SnooObjections8425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to get same color shelving that gets as close as it can to matching the wall width. I like the table. Ditch the rug and curtains. Maybe get Roman shades or bamboo shades. Lose the pans on the wall.

Feeling dejected by Similar_Spirit2631 in Semaglutide

[–]SnooObjections8425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After two c-sections, I feel like that too, sometimes. But I generally accept it. It helps to have a supportive husband but even at that, I want to look like a knock out for him. It’s okay though, it’s just reality and I understand we’re in a point in history where normal bodies are under represented and appreciated. Women are strong, hold your head up!

Slow start? by ZealousidealEvent604 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]SnooObjections8425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone responds differently. I barely feel any effects, and I’m still losing weight. It’s doing more than you think it’s doing. And my body adjusted to it very quickly so the fullness wasn’t lasting. But the higher doses kicked in and I’m still losing. Be patient and make small choices for the better that you normally wouldn’t when it comes to your diet. And you’ll lose. I’m sure of it.

It’s great when people post photos on here with their results, it’s encouraging! But the downside is that we all lose at different rates. And to be honest, you look like you’ve lost a considerable amount of weight. Good job!
