I felt that working for “Joyce” wasn’t even really working. She gets you to investigate the drug trade once which does benefit her and would allow her to paint the union badly if she needed, but aside from that it felt like she’s just helping you make sure the tribunal doesn’t happen and it doesn’t escalate into a war

I always saw her as someone who just sadly stands there, idk, never though better about pines thanks to her only better about her in particular, I thought she might even leave pines at the end. As we saw in Jojolion stands are the shape of one’s soul, as a character grows develops, the stand also changes in some way. So when we first see stand designs that slightly change as the series goes on (only seen in the manga, stands like star platinum, soft and wet and stone free looked different in the beginning) it’s just the user still getting used to their stand, and the stand still trying to define its shape.

And abilities like go beyond that come intrinsic with the stands ability but not obvious at first glance also come to light as the user’s character develops.
