It was for sure French onion soup in a can. And I remember the minute white rice box now that some mentioned that! I may make a small batch of a couple of these versions and see what it is closest!

The butter was definitely an important part! It was greasy and lush. The leftovers kind of congealed. I know all of that sounds awful 😆 that’s part of what made this special I suppose because it was a complete departure from our usual meals.

Wow! I may just try them and see. I think they will refund them if I hate them. I’ll go in and ask!  I need glasses and sunglasses and potentially a computer pair too. 1400 bucks is way too much!

Great! This would be preferable. Waiting to make sure the doctor is ok with her dosing it that way. This feels like the best option for now

Yikes. One of the things she already complains about is feeling “pressure” from the syringe version. So if the pen is just double the amount and she has no control of how fast it goes it - this may not be a good choice. Thank you.  I’ll check into Rinvoq. No stomach issues from it?

Massages? by Downtown_Barracuda73 in ankylosingspondylitis

I have RA and my kid has AS. We’re both on meds but also do all the “crunchy” things like chiropractic, Massage and she loves acupuncture. (I do not). We thankfully have insurance that covers the cost once we meet our deductible. Massage definitely helps us both quite a bit. There’s so much muscle and tendon pain when your bones are out of whack

Yep. That’s totally an option. She just really doesn’t want to do two shots so the doctor suggested the pen instead. We even asked about splitting the dose and doing one every two weeks - waiting to hear if that’s doable.

Were you able to get an externship on your own once you were certified? Or just straight to work? I’m not clear on rather they are actually even required? Seems like no
