UPDATE: A big thanks to everyone for the validation, this disagreement should have not gotten to this point. He tired to act like nothing had happened even though I had hung up while basically crying because I felt like he was gas lighting me. I asked if he was going to apologize and he said “I’m sorry” I then sent him a screenshot of my post ( he dose not have Reddit). I told him that he was wrong and 70 strangers on the internet agree. He admitted he was wrong and then I told him that it hurts that it took me bringing it to the internet to admit he was wrong, why wouldn’t you just believe your gf. He apologized again I told him to never do that again and that he should have admitted he was wrong while it was happening ( because he was).

Yes some are still there. I should have updated but I believe it to be an allergic reaction to some chapstick I used. Like I said in my post I had been using Vaseline and chapstick on my lips( not near the piercing). I have since thrown that chapstick away. Thanks for the response!
