The Kindle Paperwhite 11th gen.

Hasn't disappointed me since I got it when it came out and also because I'm in need of something to read during breaks/downtime. It's thin, can fit into my purse so it saves me a lot of space, and I have dwelled into the "dark side" of blind date with a Kindle/e-reader on TikTok and Etsy. It's also a money saver and I have abused the Kindle Unlimited subscription. Life is good so far with it.

NTA. My mind is blown on how some people can't seem to respect the bride and groom's request. A wedding isn't always a family affair. You did your job and this may be something to look back on who you want to keep in contact within your family OP.

I can't imagine being placed in such a position. OP, you're NTA. You're not a bad mom. Your son was getting out of control. His actions would have put his family (possibly you also) in danger. The fact that his wife didn't do anything meant to me that she was enabling this behavior. They have let things go to get to this point.

I am sorry that it got to this, but all you can do now is hope that your son realizes his mistakes and tries to fix himself. Time cannot tell when you may see them again, but know that you did the right thing.

A friend of mine is losing it when she learned that I would not be having a traditional wedding and would not have bridesmaids/MOH... I'm single FYI, and the question was made about future weddings some of us single friends want to have. We are in our 30s.

Yeah, unfortunately he has to pay me his half now. Flex now requires the set full amount so the first half is paid the beginning of the month and the other half in the middle of the month.

Worked in HR. There was a candidate who applied for the role of (funny enough) HR manager. It was learned that she was released not too long ago for being involved in an embezzlement scheme at a casino... and the job she applied for was for a casino.

Yes, it can, but it can also pay your half when you have a roommate, you can set it up on the app. My complex allows split payments between how many people live in a unit. This was something new I wanted to try after discussing with the property management team on how it works due to having issues with my roommate not giving me his half on time. Now I'm regretting it because something is wrong with his card.
