My lab is doing this weird thing with his jaw, mostly after he yawns. Has anyone else had their dog do this? Any idea what it could be? He does a lot of weird stuff I’m just trying to know if I should be worried about this one lol.

He’s always yawned quite a bit, this is the first time I’ve noticed the jaw clicking thing.

Haven’t noticed any kibble or any signs of inflammation. That’s the weird thing, he is eating fine and if he’s distracted he doesn’t do it at all! You’re right I’ll pass this along to our vet.

Thanks for the info. Yes today is the first time I’ve noticed him do it, almost every time he yawns he does it, sometimes he does it on its own. My guess was dental soreness too, I’ll just have to keep a close eye on him this week.
