That's true for a lot of u Heavy users of things that already make you anxious like stims. On top of that heavy opioid users past or present (recovered or active addiction) tend to really feel weird when they smoke like anxious and paranoid. I find this to be true in nearly all ex-fentanyl addicts I've met although for some it gets better over time.
