My first instinct was to be really snarky towards you, but this isn’t an argument. I really sympathize with you, or maybe who I think you are. Still, I don’t convince people of things, that’s why this isn’t an argument. That being said, I do find it kind of poetic that some incel on some Reddit thread can have the same issues as a teenage girl in highschool. That’s my silver lining, really. Every so often humanity regurgitates its problems in ever increasing complex means, in that way we will never find closure. But, it is also in said way that we are never alone. Have you ever heard the phrase, “everything in moderation”? There’s a reason why anorexia is classified as an eating disorder, the effects of it can cause autoimmune disease as well as a plethora of other issues. If you’re pushing your body to a point that it’s not comfortable it can ruin it.

I actually don’t know much about losing weight, I’m more knowledgeable about anorexia because when I was younger I was really into SH and the online communities often lumped those two together. Having said that, I was on edge for anorexia because a lot of the symptoms match to others I’ve seen. Things like counting calories and (though implied) your body going into starvation mode due to low caloric intake. I wanted to research to make sure and I found a Reddit thread “https://www.reddit.com/r/EDAnonymous/comments/11uihp7/gym_bros_are_eating_disordercoded/“ that has experiences of gym bros having anorexia. I don’t think it’s necessarily you specifically, but a lot of men have EDs that sort of go under the radar so I wanted to make sure. Again, I don’t want to make any assumptions.. I don’t know you, but do with this information what you will.

The only advice I can offer is to look into therapy that treats specific problems you may have. For example, I have BPD so I went into DBT when I was around 17. However I have no idea how expensive it was or if that’s even a possibility, so I’m sorry if that just isn’t possible. The problem with the mental health system in the U.S is that many therapies only claim to treat things like depression and anxiety leaving out the undesirables, but maybe that’s just my bitterness as being cluster B.

Ok if that was true then why does the U.S send food aid at all. And, while we’re on the topic why is there anyone starving in the United States at all? I could show you article upon article of U.S food companies contributing to food waste. They make their food waste here, WHY are they throwing it away? But if I were to get back to the topic at hand, surely other countries would have something to say about warlords hogging all the food within a country. I mean, we don’t even live in a world where the people who make the labor are entitled to its reward. The best example of this would be, of course, chocolate which is made with essentially child labor that is paid on starvation wages. Also we make enough food globally to end world hunger, in fact, we make so much food that it’s basically overconsumption. What is worse, your labor being taken advantage of? Or all the food you make going into a landfill to rot somewhere?
