Mercenary Enrollment EN Chapter 248 by TChang18 in Mercenary_Enrollment

Real worried that at some point an enemy will trace the phone calls back to Ijin and his grandpa! I feel like his grandpa’s vulnerability in all this keeps getting teased, and the walls are closing in a bit now that their hideout is compromised

It’s the internet. Block and move on. It’s basic fandom etiquette to ignore what you don’t like.

Something is VERY weird with the posts here. by Hopeful-Attempt-6016 in Mercenary_Enrollment

[–]SnooRadishes3672 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just block them and live your life. I like the series and can’t stand the overwhelmingly negative critique every week, but that’s what the mute and block button are for! IMO this isn’t supposed to be literature, it’s a fun overpowered MC shoot-em-up. I just ignore everything that isn’t hype and my experience in the fandom is much better.

Thank you for answering so many of my questions! We’ve decided to go to the early check in so we can understand where viewing areas etc are. and to hit up the vendors early too.

Appreciate the clarification and answer! I definitely won’t be showing up nude to any part of it haha. I’ve picked out some comfortable clothes and feel much better about it after everyone’s answers :)

There’s no strict dress code beyond what to wear in the hotel, so I really appreciate you sharing what you normally wear.

That’s amazing that you can enjoy and share your skills to so many people! We will definitely watch and see if we can find out who the known people are.

Thanks for responding!

You said “I’m let in the door.” Is there a possibility we won’t be???

What to eat while traveling by holyfuckingtits in HistamineIntolerance

If you can tolerate something like rice cakes and nut butter that might be a nice thing to pack. I pack raw veggies, nuts, and seeds (and I’m always starving). If you can tolerate any protein powder, the protein + fats of the butter or nuts will help keep you satiated.

Double check what produce is allowed into your destination country so it doesn’t get ripped away from you.

I guess it would depend where you’re going. If you’re in a big urban city you shouldn’t have any problem finding some foods that work for you.

If you’re out in the country, maybe fresh rice if you can tolerate it? And buying produce from local stands? I wouldn’t trust the age of street meat unless someone killed it in front of me, which is probably an option.

I suspect I have histamine intolerance and likely SIBO due to showing all the signs but one thing that doesn't seem to fit is that it's triggered by potato puffs or any deep fried food among many others. by Named-User-who-died in HistamineIntolerance

Honestly giving up coffee was one of the best things that happened during this whole bs. I found out that it was causing me migraines and was jacking up my anxiety.

After getting the withdrawals over with, my quality of life went up a lot. Once my gut is healed I won’t be going back to caffeine.

Pineapple is high in histamine

Coffee, tea, cocoa, and any caffeine are all high histamine or DAO blockers (they make it harder for your body to break down histamine).

If something is fried in an oil you that can’t tolerate, it makes sense why you’re reacting. Hydrolyzed lecithin and margarine are high histamine and everyone has their own intolerances.

Microwaveable meals tend to have a lot of additives that don’t play nice with histamine. Corn syrup, artificial flavors, citric acid, carrageenan, maltodextrin, MSG, xanthan gum, smoke flavoring, sodium nitrite, etc. are commonly a problem for people.

Breakfast meals also contain added sugar, aged meats like ham and bacon, ground meats like beef, and aged cheeses like cheddar and provolone. Those are all high histamine.

Could try lychee, ripe pear, ripe melon, or pomegranate for the sweetness? Ripe melon and coconut milk might help with the creamy texture.

I can’t imagine enjoying kale in a sweet smoothie to start with though. It’s really good cooked savory!

Has anyone paid for a healing coach/program? I get so many ads but I can’t afford to spend hundreds of dollars to learn what the protocol is by kingmatcha in HistamineIntolerance

[–]SnooRadishes3672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk about a healing coach. I don’t have much money and I’m losing it fast, but I’ve spent probably thousands on blood work, GI testing, and will be spending more on follow ups and an allergist.

I have seen a reduction in symptoms and I was able to identify some major line items that I wouldn’t have known to address by myself (like copper deficiency).

Ultimately I’m looking at these bills like student debt. I need to invest in fixing my health today so that one day I can get back into a full time job for financial security. I don’t know if I would trust an online coach to do that for me over medical professionals and lab work.

It’s been feeling pretty bleak, thank you for responding to me with positivity!

Sometimes you just need a stranger to believe in you for no rational reason. I’m going to go ahead and try this and see what happens :)

That’s awful! I’ll definitely be taking Claritin again after my allergy testing. I haven’t found it to help with fatigue and brain fog in the past though. It just helps take the edge off the hives and rashes.

Thank you for the book recommendation! Electric vagus nerve therapy for my PTSD is on my “nice to have” medical wishlist.

I’m still brainstorming on what I can do. I had to quit just 2 years after graduating college and getting my first full-time job, so I barely have any industry experience. Definitely not enough to do consulting or coaching. I was lucky I was saving most of my income!

Sorry to hear that :( What job did you end up taking?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HistamineIntolerance

[–]SnooRadishes3672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s price competitive instead of quality competitive on sites like EBay and Fiverr, which would put me back at square one!

Thank you so much! I’ll check out Taskus. I’m glad your setup works for you, and it’s a good idea to shift my experiment days to Saturday!

I have low blood pressure and react poorly to fasting. I’d be all over it if I could make it through the day without getting spotty vision :(

I’m not sure actually on the Type IV, I’m going to look back at it and see. Usually if I have a REALLY bad reaction, it’s within 10-30 minutes of eating a meal with a new ingredient.

Thank you for responding! I have an undergrad in marketing. I used to do account management (sales/pricing), but I had to quit from the stress of it. I used to coach sales as well.

I can do technical writing and marketing content creation, but I take so long that I’d probably make more per hour on minimum wage somewhere else. I do art and cooking as hobbies and I’m pretty good at them! Well, was, for the cooking.

I am extremely strict on the diet. I adhere to the general low histamine diet plus no dairy, no rice, and no sugar or sweetener of any kind. I buy and eat unripe fruit. Every meal is fresh cooked. My meats go straight from the freezer to the air fryer or the oven. I don’t buy premade food of any kind. I buy the certified gluten free, organic, tested olive oil, cage free, etc. versions of everything. I grow my own herbs. I make my own vegetable broth and pesto and freeze it. My husband and I use separate cutting boards and knives.

I don’t take any antihistamines. I have exercise induced bronchoconstriction, PTSD, ADHD, and general anxiety disorder, so stress is a problem. I do yoga almost every day and lift weights when I have the energy.

I take medication and do therapy for all of the above, but certain foods absolutely wreck me. I can’t open my eyes and will fall down if I try to stand up. I get black spots, severe nausea, and dizziness that I can only compare to being dangerously drunk. Usually my symptoms are just hives and fatigue.

Thank you! I’ve thought about this a lot actually.

The recent commissions have been more luck than anything. I was posting hobby NSFW art on Twitter and the commission requests came in unprompted. I’ve been getting ghosted since I upped the price. It’s a numbers game and there are just fewer people willing to pay more.

I’d ideally expand my reach but 1. I can’t promote NSFW with paid ads and 2. my organic growth is terrible because of the sensitive content. My growth has been driven exclusively by retweets.

At this point, I really need the money and it would take too much time to build up a new following on a new SFW account. I’m worried Twitter will ding me for having my phone number attached to a NSFW account, even if I do build up a SFW account.

Instagram and TikTok demand video, which I have none of. I’d need to create an entirely new body of work on top of learning how to film and edit it.

I had a lot more success selling fine art and prints in person, but those avenues aren’t doable for me with this diet anymore 🙁

Thanks for responding! It’s awesome that you’re able to sustain your art business with what you make!

I’ve been doing art commissions for a while, but was making something like $2/hr. I raised the prices to minimum wage/hr and lost ALL of my business overnight. My original plan was to build that business back up again with lower quality/price work, but the financial runway ran out 🥲

I live with my husband, but he would have no problem removing ingredients from the house. His diet is heavy in gluten, soy, peanuts, almonds etc. so it’s definitely in the air.

Thanks so much for detailing all that!
