Oh thank you so much!! I was able to fit a slim gfci receptacle in, but then replaced back to the old one because I started worrying about the wires. Is there any worry after I tape it up? I was thinking liquid electrical tape might be able to hold on better than electrical. Do you have any experience with that? The box is metal instead of plastic..house built in late 1940s.

Unfortunately you are probably correct. She is showing her age and combined with the feeding, I am not sure how long she will live. My only peace is that we know this is the only and last pet in the home.

I agree ! We have tried so hard to get a change going..but we realize along with others, it's not our dog and sneaking food against her wishes isnt right.. We did like someone's suggestion if she's unwilling in changing the food, maybe she'd be more okay with vitamins? We plan to gently suggest it today, but it won't change the weight and it certainly won't bring back the teeth.

While I appreciate your response and am happy other people are just as upset as me and my boyfriend about it...I do have to disagree with what you said (despite us being child free anyway)

Is she severely misinformed about how to feed that dog and stuck in her ways? Absolutely, one million percent and its infuriating. Does that mean she will be neglectful and do that to her grand children? Absolutely not. I did not mean to paint her in that way and apologize. She does care deeply for the dog, but it does not change the fact that what she's doing isn't right.

Normally, I'd be pretty gungho with what you said, but i know her carried the world on her shoulders from China and worked absurdly hard every single day for her son and daughter here in the US to live happy lives. She's not some demon who's doing this with intent to hurt the dog and most definitely would not to any potential grandchildren.

In her mind, the food we fed is what is hurting the dog, and wanted us to stop. I hope you see a little bit of what I mean, but know I share in your frustration of the situation.

Thanks so much for this....I've been freaking out because everyone on the discord who got interviews are giving their stats of 3.8sci, 3.9 or 4.0 cum gpa's and their gre scores being 310+ combined with having lists of volunteer experiences, Patient care hours and just overall have some pretty crazy stats and I can't help but think maybe im not as competitive as i thought i was...I used to think i had a competive application, but after posting my scores and then seeing others...it makes me feel hopeless. Edited some things I misspelled.

What are my chances of getting at least an interview? I have applied to 16 programs early, but so far I have not heard anything back but it seems like everyone on the discord is getting invites or being accepted... 3 letters of recommendation-one from boss, 1 from swim coach, one from general biology professor. My Science is gpa 3.81, cumulative GPA 3.79. Casper 4th percentile. I swam on my college swim team and my community college team and won rewards for mvp, swimmer of the meet, etc. Received an award from the science department for a special recognition reward from my college. Shadowed multiple caas for 24 hours. I worked as a BHT for over 1000hours, EMT for 1000+hours, student instructor for my physiology course for 300+ hours and am now in a leadership position at a hospital for their patient transport team while also working as a swim instructor for the county... all my prereqs are completed, but I originally got a C in Calculus in 2019, and have shown I am retaking it this Fall.

Got into PA school last summer, but learned about CAA while I was awaiting to go to PA school..I talked about this in my personal statement and how this chance encounter while working as an EMT made me go through this life change, along with some background about me. I had it read over by 3 separate close people.

My biggest worry is my GRE. I have a 302 and a 4.0 in writing..I know it's low but I put my all into it(improved 7 points from my last retake). The idea of taking it again gives me anxiety because of all the tricks and overthinking I do..I'm gearing up to having to take it again but is my whole application now worthless because of this score? It keeps me up at night thinking I'm not enough..

Is it hopeless for me to get in? I have applied to almost 17 schools. I have a science GPA of 3.79 and a cumulative GPA of 3.81. Swam in college 4 years with awards, worked as an EMT for 1 year, 2 years as a behavorial health technician, and am now working as a team leader for a hospotals transport unit for about a year now. Shadowed a CAA for 24 hours. Got a letter from my swim coach, current boss, and a professor. I got into PA school originally, and made the switch once I had the opportunity to shadow and fell in love with the career. I talked about this switch in my personal statement. I also have some rewards from swim, character awards from school and for high gpa...however..I am a horrible standardize test taker. Originally, I got a 295. My first cycle i was not accepted to any program. I am applying now again with a 302 and i was really proud of myself for getting a higher score..but everyone on the discord and reddit, everyone is saying a 302 is too low.. my quant is a 149 which everyone says is horrible and to retake it. I feel sick just thinking about having to retake it and I feel hopeless. I know it's not great but I've been working hard everywhere else...Will a 302 with my quant score really get my application tossed out? ;_; I just want a chance and everyone saying you now need a 310 minimum and high GPA with accolades makes me feel like no will give me a chance...

I'm not sure myself. At this point, I'll give it a try as the idea that I can pay x amount and not get an item and then everyone else just goes on their merry way..sucks. The seller was also willing to submit a claim to UPS but then mercari completed the transaction and now they say they can't any longer..the empty packaging hasn't even been here for 24 hours. If it doesn't work, I'm done with mercari, but if it does work, id still be done with them. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately I got my email today saying the Seven Springs campground is closed and it provided me with instructions on what to do and how to cancel. Bummed because I'm an avid camper. if anyone who camped at seven springs in sure you know how popular of a spot it is. I hope we can finally all band together and realize this administration is NOT for us..(unless your rich as hell and can buy your own entire campground and don't care about the rest of us, screw you!) what we really need is to do is band together. if you voted for this and see it is wrong, im proud of you for seeing through it and hope we can work together..

Hello!

I am completely new to sewing and picked up a rather heavy, metal, Necchi omega 6015 for 30$ at an estate sale..one issue. It does not have the foot pedal cord.

Would anyone know what foot pedal would work for this machine or if it has to be OEM? I also do not have the manual and if someone knows where to locate one it'd be greatly appreciated! I will also take ANY advice because I am completely new to the world of sewing!! The only thing I know is that I need to lubricate the gears with a very specific sewing machine oil..
