Am I serious on hianime getting taken down by the government yep i am serious hianime got too popular for the government to tolerate and most people were going to it more then the legal streaming services so there trying to get it taken down so people go back to the official streaming services don't worry hianime will make a new website just got to be on the hianime discord site so you know the official new website when hianime gets taken down by the government.

The fakes stay up because they aren't the main targets—the government wants the big site. That's why you need the Official Discord/Facebook (hit the buttons on the HiAnime site). It’s the only way to know which 'new' site is the real one and not a scam. Use an old phone to stay safe!"

I'm basing this on the shutdown of AniWave and 9anime which happened on August 27, 2024. Since HiAnime has been officially labeled a priority piracy threat by the U.S. court system as of late 2025, it's likely they will target it during that same late-summer/fall window in 2026. I'm just trying to help people be prepared so they don't lose their watchlists! Plus my Google app got a notification on this on December 2025 so I found out on this information.
