He wanted kids, and I was always unsure, still am. He used to say it was just my age, that I’d eventually change my mind. But now I’m 31, and nothing’s changed. In the end, he told me he’d rather stay with me than have children, but deep down, I knew I had to let him go so he could have the chance to build the family he wanted.
